- BLBrian Lawson2 days ago3.0The Staybridge Suites in Baltimore is in a great location with plenty of restaurants nearby. The room itself was very nice—comfortable bed, good pillows, and a clean, well-designed bathroom. The only issue on the room side was that the water pressure in the morning was extremely weak. Breakfast was definitely a highlight. It was very good and had a nice variety. Now for the negatives. The valet parking situation is unacceptable. Valet is $34 a night, which is already high, but the real problem is that if you go in and out more than three times, they charge you an additional $34. I’ve never heard of a policy like that before, and it feels unreasonable. On top of that, as a Platinum Elite IHG member, the disrespect I experienced from one of the valet attendants is completely unacceptable. His attitude toward Black guests, including myself, was noticeably different from how he treated white guests, and that kind of behavior has no place in hospitality. Because of the valet issues and the discriminatory attitude, I have to give this place a low rating despite the otherwise positive aspects.

The hotel is beautifully located in the historic Chamber of Commerce building, and the suites felt like a cozy apartment, spacious and clean. The staff was amazing, but I want to give a special shout-out to Ines Jendoubi, who runs the social hour. I first noticed her name tag said “Ines” and had to ask her last name. I’m so glad I did! She made the evenings feel warm and welcoming, greeting each guest personally, offering a wonderful spread of food, appetizers and drinks and even giving excellent recommendations about nearby restaurants and attractions. The location is perfect for walking around the Inner Harbor. Overall, a wonderful stay. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Baltimore.

- PTPav TamberNov 11, 20255.0Stayed here for 4 nights (solo traveller). My room was very spacious with kitchenette. It had a microwave, coffee pot, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer and plenty of dishes/cutlery. Room was spacious with comfy beds (I booked a 2 bed room, even though I was solo 😀). Plenty of space to chill after a long day. Breakfast was free and included 2 or 3 hot dishes (inc scrambled eggs and meat), waffle maker, pastries, fruits, granola/yogurt and drink options. I only ate there twice. Food was so so. I ended up switching to breakfast at South Street Cafe (inside an office building, 2 mins walk away) for the remainder 2 days as I wanted some variety from the same items. Hotel is a few mins walk from the Inner Harbor area, which is why I booked it. Easy for public transport as well (inc the free CCC buses). Friendly staff, always happy to help.
