I have stayed at many hotels but the lord Baltimore Hotel is the dirtiest place we have ever stayed. If other area hotels were not booked we would have left the minute we saw the room. Between the black mold in the bathroom (pictures below), the smell of urine in the room, stains on the carpet and the broken hvac that continuously pumped hot air into the room to the point it made my wife sick and the front desk said there was nothing they could do until the next day. So we never even got to sleep and then as compensation was offered breakfast! I will never ever stay there again and will warn others to do the same.

Stayed this weekend with my wife and young children. I will never go back nor will I ever recommend. Building was cool but not well kept, paint was peeling off the walls in certain places and looked generally unclean. The service was also a let down, half the staff were utterly rude and unfriendly the other half friendly but clueless about the hotel and the general area. Upon checking in we found out there was also a “Leather Convention” on site this weekend, when meant a bunch of guys in leather dresses and military style biker hats. I don’t care what you do on your free time but this was clearly not family friendly. Should have been notified by the hotel in advance or upon making reservation that this was taking place. Very uncomfortable for my kids who are 8 and 12 respectively. Shame on you Lord Baltimore.

⭐️ One star — because zero isn’t an option.
Let me break it down for you:
— The room? Old, beat-up, scratched walls and furniture like they’ve been through a war. The bathroom window? Looked like it belonged in a prison cell — covered in random scratches, graffiti, and deep existential despair.
— “Complimentary water” — is that what we’re calling a questionable ice bucket in the lobby now? No bottled water in the room, none for purchase in the tiny shop either. But hey, enjoy your unlabeled hydration experience.
— Daily housekeeping? Only “upon request” because, and I quote, “we don’t want to disturb you.” No, let’s be honest — you don’t want to pay staff.
— Everything is outdated — I’m talking stained lampshades, wobbly nightstands, chipped paint.
— Paid $157 per night for… what exactly? Haunted mansion vibes?
— The bar closes at midnight and somehow still manages to feel dead. No ingredients for cocktails (like egg white), staff is not professional.
— I asked for water, they pointed me to a cooler in the lobby like I was asking for something extra. Newsflash: water is a human need, not a perk. Not polite at all!

Older hotel in need of some updating. The service staff was efficient and helpful but there were two elevators inoperable on a weekend with 13000 seat concerts across the street. The wait to get up and down the elevator was upwards of 30+ minutes at times which is simply unacceptable

CURRENT GUEST (10/24 - 10/26) - WISH WE COULD GIVE NO STARS!!!!!!
The pictures on the website and booking sites are misleading.
Stains on the curtains.
Burn marks in the carpet.
Carpet is dated and dirty.
The shower tile is dingy, with dark grout, so can't tell if it's clean or not.
The floor of the tub is horrifying.
They advertise queen beds in the 2 queen bed rooms, but they're full size beds.
If you plug in the microwave, or use it, the lights flicker.
Not enough outlets for smart devices and/or chargers (3 accessible plugs; 1 on each lamp and one behind the nightstand).
If you bump or tap the table of any of the lamps, those lights flicker.
The hall/entry light in our room keeps flickering on and off.
The rooms have very dim lighting to distract from the overall horrible room.
The hallways are dim, dusty and dated.
There's no room service.
