Minimalist rooms but completely sufficient. Bed extremely comfortable. Lots of lighting. Hot water could be a bit hotter; parts of room a bit worn, but everything was clean. There was no tip envelope for cleaning staff to my disnay. Staff extremley kind and Carelton the doorman (I kid you not!) was a fount of historical information. A good stay.

The hotel is beautiful and the location is wonderful. The front door staff is friendly and helpful. The hot water situation, however, put a real damper on our stay. The shower was either burning hot or ice cold - it was impossible to set it to a reasonable temperature. My husband informed them of the issue after the first round of showers but we received no response, so the four of us muddled through with second camping-like shower.

Carlton met me outside and took my small bag in so it would be ready for me when I returned from parking in public parking across the street. He also helped me carry my items across the street to the parking garage when I checked out. (Since I was going out later in the evening when I checked in, valet parking was discouraged). My room was clean enough and very spacious. (I just wish I could have found the thermostat to knock the chill off when I arrived.) It was quiet except for the slamming of the double doors leading back to the lobby.

I stayed at this hotel from 12/5 - 12/7 and I can’t wait to return. The rooms were clean. The staff was excellent. I want to give a big shout out to JAMAL. He was the best person during my experience there. He was pleasant answering all questions for me before my arrival and when I got there he was simply a breath of fresh air. He looked out for me and my daughters making sure we were safe exiting the building during early morning hours. He helped me with everything I needed during my stay. He is the main reason I would return because I am big great customer service and he is exactly that! Housekeeping was also a pleasure as well as the man who helped us with our bags when we arrived. Hotel just has very good energy and he travels to you once you check in. I am looking forward to returning.

What was meant to be a wonderful and memorable weekend turned into a complete disappointment. My sons were booked for a 5‑night stay. Due to a flight change, my eldest son (25) arrived later, while my youngest son (19) arrived earlier at the hotel. Prior to their arrival, we had called and confirmed with a front desk agent that it would be fine for my youngest son to check in without his older brother. He was listed on the reservation and had his own credit card. Despite this, upon arrival, the front desk staff refused to allow him to check in and insisted he wait nearly five hours in the lobby until his brother arrived. This was not only unnecessary but also extremely insensitive, especially after my son had just endured a four‑hour flight. This stay was intended as a gift for the weekend Baltimore Ravens game, something my son had been looking forward to as a huge fan. Instead, the experience was overshadowed by poor treatment and lack of flexibility. I contacted IHG Guest Relations (as a club member) and was told they would file a complaint but could do nothing further. I was shocked at how little authority guest relations has to resolve issues like this. The actions of the front desk were not only unhelpful but felt cruel. Policies should be applied with consideration for individual circumstances, and in this case, compassion and common sense were completely absent. This experience has made me seriously reconsider my loyalty to IHG.
