Was told a rate over the phone- traveled to the hotel only to be told the rate had increased $50. No apology was given, was gaslit into us being in the wrong even though we only called one phone number and confirmed it was this hotel by the concierge. Can not recommend whatsoever based on this experience.

From the moment I stepped into Hotel Indigo Baltimore Downtown, I knew this wasn’t just another hotel — it was an experience worth remembering. The lobby feels more like an art gallery than a check-in desk, with vibrant touches and surprising design details that hint at the personality of the city outside. It sets the tone perfectly: stylish without feeling pretentious, welcoming without being generic. My room was a great blend of comfort and character. The bed was plush and instantly inviting, the bedding crisp and fresh, and the thoughtful little touches throughout — from the curated artwork to the high-quality toiletries — made it feel like a boutique stay, not just a place to sleep. I especially appreciated the blackout curtains and quiet atmosphere; even in the heart of downtown, I slept soundly. What truly stood out, though, was the staff. Every interaction — from the front desk greeting to housekeeping passing in the hallway — felt genuinely warm. They were happy to offer local recommendations, check in to make sure everything was perfect, and always did it with a smile. It made the entire stay feel personal and cared-for. Location couldn’t be better. Within easy walking distance of historic neighborhoods, great restaurants, theaters, and cultural hotspots, it felt like the perfect base for both exploring downtown Baltimore and enjoying nights in. And after long days of sightseeing or meetings, returning to a room that felt refreshing and comfortable made all the difference. Whether you’re in town for business, a weekend getaway, or just want a hotel with character and thoughtful service, Hotel Indigo delivers in every way. Stylish rooms, standout service, and a vibe that makes you want to come back — this place earns every one of its five stars.

My husband and I stayed here for one night. The detail, design and atmosphere were amazing. Staff were super kind and welcoming. The king suite we stayed in was luxury and to my surprise I slept very well. If you are traveling or like me having a surgery downtown I certainly recommend staying here.

Honestly, I would never stay at this hotel again I made a reservation online about an hour later came to check in the process was smooth in the middle of the night housekeeping is knocking on my door telling me that my room was marked vacant and no one should be staying in there. I called the Front Desk. They tell me they fixed the problem the next morning after I leave I checked my card and I’ve noticed that I’ve been charged a no-show fee for the hotel, which is a day rate so I call and ask him. Why have I been charged a no-show when I stayed at the hotel last night? They tell me that it’s my fault because I didn’t show up. I explained to them that I stayed at the hotel last night and you guys charged my card $249 and then another $171. They were not accommodating and told me that I will receive a refund within 30 days. No apologies. I even called to speak to a manager and she said the most that she could do is just refunded me my money and that’s it.

Good central downtown location. Offers a wonderful breakfast selection (recommend getting complementary breakfast when making reservation if possible). Also recommend a corner room for the view. Room was clean and well maintained. Only downside was that we enjoy the Inner Harbor area and although close, not an easy winter walk and the Lyft ride cost added up over 3 days.
