If you are using a third party website, make sure you check with hotel staff that you are being charged for only incidental and not for the room. I was charged twice but was never credited back after bring up the issue. Called the hotel but never heard back from the hotel manager. Hotel staff is amazing!

The front desk staff was incredibly nice, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, making check-in smooth and stress-free. A great first impression that set the tone for the rest of the stay. Valet parking was efficient and hassle-free, and what stood out throughout my visit was how consistently kind and attentive the entire staff was. Everyone I encountered asked how my day was going or if I needed anything. It’s the little things, and this place gets them right. The hotel itself is in great shape—modern, clean, and comfortable. My room was very spacious, the white towels were crisp and fresh, and the bathroom was roomy and spotless. Having a little kitchenette was an added bonus—super convenient whether you’re staying for work or just want some flexibility. The location is also a big plus—downtown Baltimore, close to everything, easy to get around whether you’re walking, driving, or Ubering. I was there for business, but honestly, I’d recommend this place for anyone—business, leisure, or a bit of both. Definitely five stars from me. Give it a try—you won’t regret it.

Check in was easy and everyone we encountered in the lobby were welcoming and helpful. We decided to valet for the weekend, and it was a great call vs. dealing with the garage—the valet with the stylish glasses and fab orange jacket was ah-mazingly charming. It was quick & easy to retrieve our vehicle all weekend. We grabbed drinks and some food at the Poet bar before our concert—the bartenders were fantastic, my seasonal cocktail was delicious, and I highly recommend the naked wings with honey Old Bay sauce on the side. I had booked our room specifically for the bathtub for post concert self-care and the bath/shower set up was great but I do think the bathroom could use an actual door vs a barn-style sliding.

The culinary offerings at the Poet restaurant, specifically the crab cakes, are noteworthy. However, the location is somewhat removed from major points of interest, and there's a large presence of homelessness in the vicinity, the hotel has valet parking or you have to use a public garage options without in and out privileged pay everything you exit. The TV isn't a smart TV that adapt to apps. While you can walk to grocery store and food spots close by, its unpleasant walk seeing homeless people everywhere and beggars everytime. Overall, the property and staff itself are of high quality. Having visted numerous hotels and having stayed in over fifteen properties in Baltimore, this hotel ranks among the top four I've experienced in the city. It is also among the top IHG properties in Baltimore, comparable to the Kimpton. The manager, Ms. Kim, provided a warm and hospitable welcome. The employee who assisted with my packages was exceptional and engaging. The staff gives a pleasant and inviting atmosphere, making me feel at home; I would certainly consider staying here again.
