New upcoming hotel. Excellent place to stay right near BWI. They are now even introducing shuttle service to BWI.

This location is currently under renovation and I've been eager to see the finished product! As a consultant that works from home, I've stayed here occasionally just to break up the monotony of being within my home office. Iqbal is usually manning the front desk when I come down for a coffee to get my day started. He is incredibly pleasant and eager to help answer any of my questions about the hotel and local area. The main seating area in the lobby has great lighting that helps me to feel as if I'm not stuck indoors. I like that the coffee station is clean and the condiments are well stocked. I tend to bring my own creamer pods to mix things up. When I tire of the main seating area there are three other seating areas in the lobby that I can transition to as I work. Even with the renovations, I use my AirPods and continue working with its noise cancellation. The way the seating areas are set up in the lobby, I don't get distracted with renovation sounds, foot traffic or hotel employees cleaning the lobby. I've also had a day on site where I was able to sit out on the picnic table at the rear of the hotel comfortably and without interruption. For lunch, there is a lunch wagon at the Shell station that sells Mexican food. There is also a Dunkin' Donuts across the street with bagel sandwiches for a quick bite. I'd like to see the grill area once completed if for anything but the shade and additional seating area to work out of. Overall, I really enjoy this location because of Iqbal's infectious energy and pride in his work. It def helps to break up the monotony of telework life. And it's nice to feel 'at home' while away from home. My one complaint about this location is the lack of engagement from the Manager on site. While at the front desk, the Manager seemingly does not engage with hotel guests as they enter the lobby.

They were in the middle of renovation, so things were a bit in disarray. Still the rooms were a good price all considered. Very clean, like a new hotel. Parking lot is well lit, didn’t experience any issues or feel at risk. Close to BWI and Glen Burnie, right off 695, maybe 20 mins from bmore.

Room was fine. Clean and quiet. The first stay the desk clerk was very nice. The second stay I had to cancel due to bwi closing and my flight was canceled. That desk clerk was rude and extremely unhelpful. The place is under construction and I was not aware. Wouldn't have been a problem but I arrived late and was given a room in an isolated area. I was along and got off the elevator (which was terrifying itself) and the carpets were covered with plastic like a Dexter show. It was dead silent when I went to my room and it was creepy. At first my keycard didn't work. When I tried again, the interior metal safety guard was preventing me from opening the door. I yelled in that I was sorry because apparently someone was in the room. I went back to the elevator and it did not come for the longest time. I was actually scared lol. When it opened there was a guy standing there that took me by surprise. He didn't speak English so I don't know if he understood. I was moved to another room. Still scary but at least vacant. Return flight the next week was unable to land in Baltimore but no refund despite contacting ihg and the hotel. Im a diamond elite member and they did not care or help.

Reviews dont matter. You must have your own personal experience. I read the reviews before booking, which were not all good but decided to research for myself and realized when angry guest leave a review that's THIER experience and may not be yours. Some ppl take pleasure in destroying a person or place purposefully but hardly ever write a review when they are pleased. My experience was outstanding. The rooms are brand NEW. THE WALK IN SHOWER IS everything. Clean rooms, comfy bed, great circulation, everything was good with my overnight stay. I didn't experience breakfast due to the 5am departure but, the hotel is far nicer than those negative reviews. As a business owner I understand the reflection of a bad review and I understand who and why ppl write bad reviews, but can we normalize speaking up when things are great too? So for the record, dont miss out on this place. Thanks for a comforting stay. Now owned by IHG so I get points.
