This review is for the skating cabana package offered by the four seasons hotel. The one star is because we thought it would have been a nice upscale location for an afternoon ice skating party. I had a reservation for two skating cabanas and I was extremely disappointed. When I arrived 10 minutes prior to the party, there was no one there, and nothing was being set up. Luckily, there was one person at the bar who directed me where to go. I went up a level to the skating rink and still no one was there. In looking for someone to assist me, I got locked out of the skating rink and had to catch the elevator down to get back to the rink. Things were dirty and the heaters in the cabanas were not warm and one of the heaters was not working. They did give us the cabana on the opposite side because the heater wasn’t working for the middle cabana, but it didn’t help with the temperature because our cabanas with heaters were so far apart. The rink also wasn’t a real skating rink. It was dirty and whatever solution is used to make the surface “skateable” did not work so they couldn’t really skate. The attendants were nice and tried their best but there were so many issues that needed to be addressed.

My wife and I booked the Winter Village Dine at the Splash Pool Bar & Grill—a heated private cabin with all the cozy touches: soft blankets, a Bluetooth speaker, and romantic ambiance. I’ll be honest: the first 30 minutes were rough. After settling into our cabin, we sat waiting with no sign of our server. Multiple attempts to flag down staff went nowhere, and we seriously considered leaving and asking for a refund (we’d prepaid!). So why five stars? When our servers finally arrived, they were genuinely apologetic and determined to make things right. Sarah and Mellie didn’t just deliver good service after that—they went above and beyond with complimentary extras that completely turned the evening around. We went from frustrated to impressed, and ultimately left thrilled with the whole experience. The food itself was excellent—hearty portions with careful attention to detail. The cocktails were expertly made and worth savoring. Yes, it’s expensive at $145 per person plus drinks, but I’d still recommend it. My wife was delighted (I’d kept it as a surprise), and despite the rocky start, the Four Seasons proved why they have their reputation by actually making things right when it mattered.

The 4 Seasons in Baltimore, is a beautiful place; the staff checking me in and out was Hasna, who is absolutely wonderful. The lobby was beautifully decorated with Gingerbread, that still smells wonderful, in addition to the tree and monorah. Our room, which was harbor front, was, spacious, well appointed, the 4 Seasons makes sure that you have everything at your fingertips. The room was spotless, large bed with down comforter and pillows, wonderful rain shower. The hotel maintains safety, and was very quiet. I highly recommend.

Clean Comfort & Family Dining Flexibility at the Four Seasons Baltimore The Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore blends luxury with genuine family comfort. From spotless rooms to attentive staff, it’s clear that care and consistency are part of the experience — something parents can appreciate when traveling with children. 🌟 Pros Exceptional Cleanliness: Every part of the room felt fresh, organized, and thoughtfully maintained. That sense of order makes a big difference for families who value calm, comfortable surroundings. Flexible Food Options: One of the most unexpectedly helpful features was the ability to order fries in the morning. For parents with selective eaters or kids who simply want something familiar, that flexibility was a real win. The food overall was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Warm, Helpful Staff: The staff were consistently kind and responsive. Every interaction — from room service to front desk assistance — felt genuine and solution-oriented, which added a welcoming, family-friendly tone to the stay. ⚙️ Streaming Convenience (and Limitations) Our suite included only one TV equipped with Google Chromecast, and even that was challenging to connect. Despite being tech-savvy, I found the process inconvenient — it took multiple attempts before the system recognized my device. The other TV in the room didn’t support streaming at all. I prefer hotels that allow guests to sign in to their own streaming apps directly on the TV, as I’ve experienced at other properties. It’s a far more convenient and flexible setup for families than relying on casting. ⚖️ Cons Limited Family Dining Space: While the suite was elegant and comfortable, there wasn’t a large table for meals or family activities. A dedicated dining area or larger surface would make it easier to enjoy in-room meals together. Streaming Limitations: Because only one TV includes Chromecast, most rooms don’t support streaming. Expanding access or adding login-enabled apps would significantly improve the in-room experience for families. 🌈 Overall Impression The Four Seasons Baltimore earns 4 out of 5 stars for family travel. The combination of cleanliness, food quality, and warm service makes it a top-tier option for parents seeking comfort and care — though improved streaming access and more family-friendly in-room layouts would make it even better. — #1 Maryland Homeschool Oversight Program Reviews are created and managed by St. Virgo LLC.
