  It's sad to say that our normal place for staying in Baltimore has gone a little bit downhill. They no longer offer free coffee by the elevators in the morning, which is exceptionally sad as it was one of the few markers that this was one of the better hiltons as opposed to just the same as the rest in Baltimore. When my wife came in from her run needing the restroom. The staff at the restaurant were unhelpful and unwilling to say where the first floor bathroom was, only saying it's not in the restaurant, forcing her to go up to the room. The staff for the front desk are still exceptional and helpful. The bar is still a great bar, although it would be nice if they had a slightly better red wine by the glass. Overall it's still a fine hotel, just not what it used to be, and maybe not worth the extra cost compared to the other local hiltons. I hope they stop this decline as I very much like staying here otherwise and I think I might give it one more try.

  Loved our stay. Beautiful room with amazing view of Baltimore! Enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the French restaurant as well.

  Had an awesome stay at the Canopy while working at Johns Hopkins. I was there for 12 nights and the room is definitely one of the best in the area, with wood floors, their signature canopy over the bed and a great view of the lights overlooking the river. A snowstorm completely shuttered downtown and it was very thoughtful of the hotel to have an amazing buffet dinner for everyone snowed in at a suprisingly low price. The guitar trio was a really nice touch the last night I was there. It's a really convenient location near Whole Foods and many of my favorite restaurants, although I'd definitely recommend going to Jetee, the onsite restaurant at least once. If you're they're for July 4th, location can't be beat for the fireworks! A really safe area with multiple security nearby

  Hotel does not use pet friendly salt / snowmelt despite being pet friendly and in a high foot traffic area.

  As Hilton Gold, this was one of our favorite Canopy stays. The service, over everything, was the standout of our experience. Here are some highlights: 1. We arrived super early due to our flight timing, and the front desk was amazing/so helpful. The gentleman was so nice; he held our bags while we waited for our room to be ready, allowed us into a private area to freshen up/change, and gave great recommendations for dining in the local area. 2. Our room was immaculate and had a great view of the Inner Harbor, as did the gym - which was awesome to experience when using it to go on a quick treadmill run. 3. The property is nestled wonderfully between the Inner Harbor and Fells Point, and connects to an easily-navigable harborwalk area to get to the National Aquarium and tons of great local dining.
