    I have stayed at this property—and many other Best Western locations—several times and have never had a complaint before. I fully understand that the room rates were higher than usual due to the Grey Cup, and that was my own choice. However, during this stay, the amenities that I specifically choose Best Western for were unexpectedly unavailable. After checking in, we went to use the gym, only to be told by the front desk that it was closed. We then decided to enjoy the hot tub, but were informed that it was also under maintenance. Finally, we tried to use the indoor pool, but the water was extremely cold and uncomfortable. When we mentioned this to the front desk staff, they appeared disinterested and simply said “it is what it is.” We explained that we had paid a significantly higher rate and were unable to use a single amenity, and their response was that we “should have called before booking.” I found that reply quite unprofessional, as guests do not typically need to call ahead to confirm whether standard amenities are functioning. I have never requested a refund before, but in this case, I feel extremely disappointed, and I believe it is fair to request compensation for an experience where none of the expected amenities were available.     MD and the staff at the Best Western made our stay exceptional. Rooms are comfortable and clean. As we took the airport shuttle and did not have a car - Within walking distance is a Tim Hortons for coffee, Super Store for groceries, Flying Squirrel, kids indoor playground and Airplane museum to entertain the kids. We have stayed there a couple times and on both occasions the pool and gym were out of service - hotel should note this on their website. But overall, we had a great time and appreciated the helpful and hospital staff at the Best Western in Winnipeg.

    Staff went out of their way to make our 2 day stay comfortable. The room was clean and spacious. The pool was being serviced but we were shuttled to The Hilton Hotel to use theirs. We will definitely be staying there again when we pass through Winnipeg. The food at the hotel was great. Prices were reasonable "The Daltons Lounge"

    We stopped here after being on the road for 24 hours. We were earlier than the normal check in time, but our room was ready and they let us in early. It's dog friendly per a weratedogs.com ad, and the friendly staff made our little traveling companion feel very welcome. It's close to some great restaurants, Costco, Walmart and the airport. There's also a great walking park just a few blocks away. The room was very clean, and the bed was A M A Z I N G. We literally slept for 12 hours. Thanks for a great stay.
