    DO NOT STAY HERE. Where do I even begin. Myself and several others I know stayed here within the last week, and I can confidently say this was the most unsafe hotel experience I have ever had and I travel frequently. Police were called multiple times a day due to assaults occurring on the property, including one incident in the elevator. Guests were yelling derogatory names and making threats towards myself and others. Seemed every floor had multiple people actively looking to start fights. There were also multiple physical altercations on my floor alone, including one directly outside my room. Throughout the night, people repeatedly and aggressively bang on doors. I called the front desk numerous times, and not a single call was answered by hotel staff. To make matters worse, I was followed and catcalled while using the stairwell and walking to my car. When I attempted to raise these concerns with staff, they were rude, dismissive, and clearly uninterested in addressing the situation. On top of the safety issues, every major amenity (the pool, hot tub, and gym) was out of service. This was not disclosed prior to or during check-in; I had to explicitly ask. Several ice machines were also broken, and one of the elevators was out of order for a period of time as well. Despite all of this, I was only offered a 10% discount. Leaving and booking elsewhere was unfortunately not an option given the circumstances, but I absolutely would have if I could. I will never stay at this establishment again and would strongly advise anyone considering it to look elsewhere. It is not worth it. Only positive was that the condition of my room was constantly good

    I really wish you could give negative star reviews because what my husband and I found is absolutely disturbing!!!!! Waking up at 4 in the morning to use the bathroom there were bedbugs in there on the bathmat, the shower curtain and on the floor. When we realized this we pulled back the bedding and I am pretty certain that the only reason there was a mattress protector on the bed was to hide the giant urine stains that were on the bottom side of the mattress. We were told that we were going to be refunded but time will tell in that regard as it takes 2-3 days. When we called the head office to let them know about the conditions of the room that we were in it was pretty much shrugged off like it was no big deal. When we asked if they wanted pictures for proof we were told you can if you want it will go in the closed customer complaint ticket for review. If you have no other options please do what I will be doing moving forward, check every corner of the room even before you take your stuff into your room and I will be adding pictures down here as well

    Place is fantastic my visit was only for the day the food is the best that I have had next to mom's home cooking I look forward to going there for another visit I recommend this place to anyone .

    I have stayed at this property—and many other Best Western locations—several times and have never had a complaint before. I fully understand that the room rates were higher than usual due to the Grey Cup, and that was my own choice. However, during this stay, the amenities that I specifically choose Best Western for were unexpectedly unavailable. After checking in, we went to use the gym, only to be told by the front desk that it was closed. We then decided to enjoy the hot tub, but were informed that it was also under maintenance. Finally, we tried to use the indoor pool, but the water was extremely cold and uncomfortable. When we mentioned this to the front desk staff, they appeared disinterested and simply said “it is what it is.” We explained that we had paid a significantly higher rate and were unable to use a single amenity, and their response was that we “should have called before booking.” I found that reply quite unprofessional, as guests do not typically need to call ahead to confirm whether standard amenities are functioning. I have never requested a refund before, but in this case, I feel extremely disappointed, and I believe it is fair to request compensation for an experience where none of the expected amenities were available.
