  Five stars for the staff who went above and beyond during the blizzard last night! My family is local, with a new infant and we lost power, and when I called, the women who answered was so kind and said we could just hang out in the lobby with our kids until our room was ready. When we checked in the front desk was so helpful. Every staff member I came into contact with was kind, helpful and smiling. The hotel is clean, and cozy, the kids are having a ball in the pool. They even served fresh baked cookies in the lobby at 8! I wish there was a restaurant here, but free breakfast was a definite plus! (Waffles, bacon, eggs, cereal etc) plus always hot coffee station in the lobby! 10/10 only wish I had the foresight to book two nights instead of just one!

  The hotel is very clean and has the perfect balance of Cape Cod "chique" and familiarity. Only slight gripe was the beds are pretty firm!! Not my favorite.. side sleepers be warned! And the doors all SLAM! so there's that.. walls are pretty thin too. Ohh and asked for a handicap accessible room.. they told me at check in that it was... It was on the 2nd floor.. okay there's an elevator.. kinda inconvenient but it was next to the very noticeable humming elevator... But it was not an accessible room at all. There was a single short table and ZERO room for a wheel chair.

  Like most Hampton Inns, the West Yarmouth, Massachusetts venue is mostly clean and comfortable. Unlike many Hampton Inns, it needs a serious updating. The hallways are dingy-looking and interior trim was discolored or coming of the walls in my room and bathroom. Also, the water in my bathroom and shower was warm, at best. No matter how long I let it run, it never got hot. The curtains in my room were worn and frayed in multiple places and the in-room coffee maker was missing parts so it didn't work. Finally, the free breakfast was more sparse than most Hampton Inn offerings. With so many motels out of business along Route 28, maybe I should just be happy that this hotel was still there.

  Construction going on into the evening. As I book through my company's travel portal there was no warning about the unacceptable level on noise. Was told "too bad" by the front desk.
