Stayed as a group. The staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms seemed to be newly renovated, but were in a variety of conditions. Some were perfectly fine, while others smelled heavily of smoke. Personal belongings were left behind by other guests in places that the cleaning staff should have noticed. If you want anything more than a place to sleep, look elsewhere.

We stayed as a group in this hotel. The experience was inconsistent across patrons and rooms. The inside of the hotel was nicer than the outside presented itself to be. Some rooms were quite nice, recently renovated and cleaned, and perfectly acceptable. Other rooms had some issues, including: beds not being made before arrival and hair on sheets, personal belongings from previous patrons being left in the room (including a used comb filled with someone's hair left on the desk of one room), doors not installed correctly, outlets in the bathroom not allowing the hair dryer to fit, and other small inconsistencies across the rooms.
Despite the advertisement of a "non-smoking" hotel, more than a few rooms were reported to have either a cigarette or marijuana smell in the room. This was expanded on in the morning when a patron was smoking a cigarette in the middle of the hallway across from one of our patrons' rooms.
The hotel advertises a hot breakfast, but does not serve its own. A limited amount of food was provided in the morning for our group, but it was very much a "first come, first serve" situation (including boxes of coffee being brought in from the nearby Dunkin), and it seemed as if they were not generally prepared to serve food in the mornings. The staff did tell me this may be changing soon, so I should mention that.
There were no elevators present in the hotel, so if you are disabled or have an issue climbing up the stairs with your bags, this would be something to specify prior to your stay here.
The hotel did not have enough room keys available for our entire group, despite knowing weeks ahead of time the number of patrons staying in the hotel. This would not be an issue for most smaller groups of patrons, but could be a problem with any other large groups that stay here.
Overall, the staff was friendly and accommodating to our needs and requests, and the rooms were of decent quality with newly renovated furniture in it. If you are looking for a place to sleep, this gets the job done. However, the smaller details that make for a cohesive and enjoyable hotel experience were inconsistent and leave some things to be desired.

Well I had quite a setback with my stay. Not necessarily the hotels fault but more of a caution to those who stay. A rolling office chair on hard surfaces is very slippery. I broke my ankle and my foot during my stay in the room while sitting on the office chair. As i went to stand it slipped and i fell the chair along with my bodyweight crushed my ankle and foot and i hit my head. Spend the next 9 hours at urgent care and the bay health state hospital which is the worst hospital i have ever been to, do not go. And FYI i work at a hospital. The staff was very accommodating to the situation. I did leave my favorite pillow. 😔. I know it didn't look like much but as someone with a neck injury, I do miss it. But location was great, updated rooms. Breakfast was lacking for a best western... 🤷♀️...and no ADA accommodations. Although my situation is not typical, my daughter has cerebral palsy. I've never been to a hotel with no elevator. It seems like a good hotel for the price.... unless you factor in my next 12 weeks of medical bills 😂 and missing work. But other than my situation I don't think I would have had many issues with the hotel itself.
Get an elevator
Throw in a carpet for safety.
And please add something to the breakfast menu.
Thanks for the memories ❤️ First broken boneS 🤣🤣🤣
Staff were super nice 👌

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Baldwin Inn and Suites. While it does not look fancy from the outside, it is well lit at night and within a walkable distance to the Big E. The staff is beyond amazing. Courteous, kind people work the front desk. The housekeeper takes pride in her work and it shows. I am very critical of the cleanliness of hotel rooms we stay in, and this one was one of the cleanest ever. If you are doubting making a reservation here, do it. You will not be disappointed with the value and experience.

We have stayed at many hotels but without a doubt this hotel was one of the best we have ever stayed.
From the moment we walked in we were amazed at the rooms cleanliness. The staff was so helpful and as our room was ready we were able to check in early.
An incredible staff and a top ten hotel. Also located in the heart of restaurants and stores!!
