- SSSebastianNov 15, 20253.0First of all - nothing wrong with the hotel, staff friendly its a basic cheap hotel Issue is this is a hotel that usually can be booked for like in the below 150 USD context - it was sold to us for 270 USD - on the day of arrival a room would have been 135 USD - I understand the idea of price discrimination - I assumed though I would book a hotel in the 270 USD price range, hence I need to judge it at this price point - at which it was very weak. Hilton sells those rooms months before the stay at prices of more than double what you would pay if you just booked them just a few days ahead. Don’t worry about availability, this is a standard basic hotel where you always find rooms available, if not here then the exact hotel with a different name the building further or another 3 of them 5 miles down the highway - it really makes no difference. If you pay significantly more than 150 USD you overpay.
