Stayed for an overnight and there were some positives and negatives but overall a pretty good experience. Walking in, impressed by the interior, fountain, and very friendly front desk staff. Room was very spacious and I get the impression that maybe 5 years ago this was a 5 star hotel. The room itself was spacious and welcoming with our name on the tv screensaver. Several things caught my attention like cracks in the tile part of the floor, pen drawings on the chair, and some stains/tears on the curtains and bedding. Noticed a few hairs in the shower but nothing crazy. Every complaint with the aesthetics could easily be resolved with just some simple updating. The bed itself seemed comfortable and pretty clean. My only real complaint is the room service the following morning. No “do not disturb “ sign supplied for the door and I kid you not, housekeeping knocked aggressively 3 separate times between 9am and 10:30am. We got in late the night before, so it was VERY annoying to walk from the bed all the way through to the sitting room to let them know EACH TIME that we did not want or require service. What was so urgent that couldn’t wait until our check out time to have this happen that many times in an hour and a half? When i say knock, i don’t mean two or three light taps with a finger and a gentle “room service” announcement. It was a constant 15-20 knocks each time and had it not been for the chain lock from the inside I have zero doubt they would have walked right in. Each time we answered and told them not yet, as we would be leaving by 10:45. How much trouble would it have been to just clean a different room for 20 minutes and come back when you know we left?? Overall, a good stay in a nice room, albeit in need of a little tlc. Just kind of left on a bad note with our morning housekeeper incident. Thank you for having us!

The room was comfortable and clean, I’m not a huge fan of the communal soaps and shampoos. I do understand it’s a cost saving venture, but it seems unsanitary somehow. The breakfast is nice - I really enjoyed the omelette - there does seem to be an issue with the food warmers though - the sausages and hash browns were cold both mornings. The hotel was packed with young kids - many seemed entirely unsupervised - this can be somewhat out of the control of the hotel - but the noise level was absurd and seemed to be left unaddressed by guest services.

Very nice suites, clean, love the bedding! TV in bedroom huge but didn't work, we watch the one on seating room. 3 garbage cans which is good but they don't push the plastic bags in and put in the cover to hold it up tight, but you can't put any garbage in, can't push it down. Our coffee tray was dirty, maybe a cleaning once a week would be good. It is an expensive area, so $400 a night ... I should not have to fix the garbage bags so I can put garbage in and trays should be super clean.

Had hair on the bathroom floor and tub when I arrived, notified the front for roomservice to clean it on their next round, but they just moved it around on the floor and missed the hairs in the bathtub and the ones stuck to the wall. The hair dryer is gross. Towels are placed in an unorganized pile under the sink. Breakfast is underwhelming and I could hear my neighbors one floor up having "fun" in the evening thanks to their squeaking bed. Overall not a great experience, wouldn't be here if it wast for work.

Just no. Room was not clean… layers of dust in the vents, mold on the window seal, yucky substance on the curtains, holes in the curtains, holes in the towels, and a room that smelled like cigarettes. It was so bad. I am a huge fan of Embassy, but this experience was terrible.
Be prepared to pay for parking ($15 per night) which they clearly post, but seems unreasonable given the area. There is a Manager’s Reception, but there are no complimentary alcoholic beverages in Massachusetts. Breakfast was minimalistic and just not great compared to other Embassy properties. Despite the pics… no hot tub as it has been tiled over. The pool is a little awkward to get to from the rooms.
I am not one to complain… but I think folks should know this is a very poorly managed property. When we complained about the smell they took off our parking fee and then sent a maintenance worker to the room to spray a deodorizing spray— it did not help.
Let me leave you with a positive— we liked the location. It is close to Lexington and Concord… about 30 minutes into Boston. We went to New Hampshire and Rhode Island very easily. Easy access to restaurants, shopping, and such… all within a few minutes drive.
I have stayed at many Embassy Suites and they are my favorite hotel… my go to. This one is the first one I have been disappointed in and I wish I had read the reviews more carefully before spending a week here.
