  I’m extremely disappointed in my stay here at this location. I was falsely accused of doing something and also charged for something I didn’t do. this maid Liz doesn’t have any customer service. she entered my room w out permission. claimed that if there wasn’t a sign up she could enter. I feel violated and I will never stay here again. I flew in from texas and she threatened to “kick me out” she was so rude and doesn’t need to work there if she doesn’t know how to do her job. she accused me of smoking in the rooms because she seen a a piece of a paper that was smoked OUTSIDE. she kept saying “if your smoking in here it’s gonna be a charge” I kindly corrected her & she then proceeded to say it x3 times which at that point my girlfriend became irritated and argued with her. She felt embarrassed in front of her crew and let her emotions get the best of her. she lied to the management and told them we were smoking in there. this is a indoor facility and I paid over $400 for my stay. i’m WELL AWARE that wasn’t allowed and being that I was from out of state I wouldn’t have did anything to disturb my stay I had no where else to go. the towel here were SOOOOOO dinghy some of them were grey! she need to be taught how to do her job. this experience left me violated, gave me extreme anxiety and they stole money from me that I didn’t have.

  IHG member for 15 years. Work and personal life takes me all over and I stay loyal to IHG. Love the Holiday Inn Express hotels and usually expect simular experience when staying here. BUT NOT HERE! Although hotel was clean and neat the service/management side could be much improved. Having a certain tier status normally comes with perk such as late check out even if by an hour but here was told 11am. Gotta GO! Management stated they needed to clean the room all while plenty of rooms on floor were empty doors open and only 1 cleaning person around. AS IF I was the bottle neck in their inability to have other rooms to be worked on. Needless to say had to leave at 11:12am after checking in at 5am. Terrible customer service for loyal IHG members.

  The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sturbridge is a solid and comfortable stay anchored by genuinely attentive and friendly service — the staff are the standout here and go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. The rooms are clean and functional but fairly standard for the brand, nothing that particularly impresses or disappoints. The location in Sturbridge works well as a base for exploring the region but is somewhat limited in terms of nearby amenities and walkability. A reliable choice for the area with service that sets it above the competition.

  The hotel is great. Clean sheets, late check out ,& yummy breakfast. Nice besides no access to the pool. I was told by Mackenzie the business is family owned & the owners don't want to pay money for a pool maintenance system or employee. She said they take care of the pool themselves in order to save money which results in constant problems & the pool never meets public safety standards. Mackenzie was rude & she smelled like tuna. 🤢 Otherwise I had great time. 😭😆❤️👍
