I was really looking forward to taking my daughter here, but we don’t be back. When you advertise that you have a space specifically created for younger kids (mine is in preschool), I would think that space would be cared for and operational. Instead, it was like a complete afterthought. Nothing there was stocked well. Things were broken. My daughter was so disappointed about there not being a single duck in there “duck pond” game that she wanted to leave. I convinced her to stick around a bit longer and go to the 4D movie, but the one the poster at the front said it would be wasn’t what it was. She wanted to leave the move because it was too much and wasn’t what was communicated. The one nice thing that happened was that one person working there made little ducks for my daughter. Between the three of us, we paid close to $100 for today and it was a complete waste.

Great place to bring kids to play if they love legos. My son is 5yrs old and loved this experience. Only downfall is we had a lego passport we paid for in advance and couldn't stamp his passport at some of the stamp stations because it was broken. I didnt find that it was worth the money of what I paid for the passport pass.
They have an awesome small play area for kiddos to use. My son loved all the life size lego figures that he could take pictures with. Lots of fun activities to do. The roller coaster game play was awesome even for adults.
All around great experience. The store area is clean and friendly with great prices on lego sets.

a bit disappointed.. place seems run down, staff working there are blah.. not really kid friendly, even my grandsons noticed it, no running water in ladies room sink in the morning, and only kiddie sinks worked in the afternoon in the ladies room.. movie theater at 3pm was off key.. side effects did not match screen playing.. delayed reaction... also 2:30pm workshop was very rushed.. it was not 30 minutes long as promised.. staff worker did not interact with children and rushed thru the build, not to mention the kids can't even keep their miniature build, embossed stamps you can collect don't even work... inexcusable... especially for the price you pay for all the extras...

Super cool place for kids who love Legos to hangout. The concept is pretty unique to be greeted with bins of lego people that you can customize as your own. Theres arose that greets you with an interactive game for families to play together and compete, before you enter the actual space. Inside there are different themed stations, such as space and race cars for the kids to enjoy. Personally, I found the highlight was the recreation of the entire city of Boston's landmarks made out of Legos. The facility was very nice and clean however, the bathrooms were a mess, and I felt that there wasn't much variety in terms of activities for the kids to do because despite having different themes each room, pretty much the end result was the same, which was just to build something. There were alternative attractions, such as a private discovery room with creative classes, but they happen to be closed that day. I also thought it was pretty cool that you could watch the professional Lego builders work on their next creations. Overall, while it was a unique experience, the pricing left a lot to be desired. So make sure you get a coupon code ahead of time you go ahead. Our tickets should have been around $27 a piece and with the codes we paid around 17

My review is for the Legoland Discovery Center adult night on 4/10/26. This is a 2-star experience that could become a 4 or 5-star experience with some tweaks.
Positives:
• Vats and vats of Lego pieces to play and build with all night.
• Fun building challenges led by master builders with great prizes.
• "4D" movie (I put in quotes because spraying everyone with water is hardly a fourth dimension, but it was fun nonetheless)
Negatives:
• While the master builders were very pleasant, the actual Lego land discovery staff were abjectly miserable. Arguing with each other about how the customers should line up, huffing and puffing about where to find more yellow bags, the works. I don't know if Legoland needs to pay these people more or just hire people who know how to smile, but something has to change because it brought the whole mood down.
• There was no explanation of what to do. We arrived to a giant room and were set free with no clue what to do. After some wandering around, we got our bearings, but an announcement at the beginning that says "this event is held here, you can do this here," would go really far.
• The event was advertised as 7–9:30, but the ride closed at 9, so we never got to try it. Had this been explained at the beginning (see point above), we could have planned more appropriately.
• Many of the smaller attractions simply don't work. When we were there, the laser room didn't work, nor did the large button game. The mini fig scanners and the photo stations were also down. That's a lot of items not working! I think they should plant more staff near these areas to make sure things are running smoothly.
• When you purchase tickets, they offer you the opportunity to buy an exclusive mini kit for a discounted rate of $6. The same kit is sold for $4 in stores, so it's neither exclusive nor discounted. This feels borderline criminal.
• None of the hand sanitizer stations work, which is particularly noticeable because the bricks are really grimy and clearly not cleaned very often (if ever).
• This is a smaller complaint, but the mini figure build area had only about four hair options and they were all rather strange (think space buns, green fringe, etc) – literally no one was able to build a figure that looked anything like them. There was also only one skin tone available.
• Another smaller issue: the main cityscape display is beautifully built but poorly maintained. Like absolutely covered in dust, better pop a Claritin before you walk in kind of situation.
Overall, I still had fun by posting up next to one of the Lego vats and building all night. I'd consider going back just for that, but I really urge Lego to consider the above changes.
