I was in Boston for a business trip and this hotel was very nearly the highlight of the entire trip! It was comfortable, had easy access to the T via the Orange Line, staff was as friendly as could be, and the breakfast was enough to warm me up for long cold days out on the Boston Harbor. I look forward to staying here whenever I find myself in Boston in the future!

Everything about our stay during the blizzard of 2026 was fine. The staff was very pleasant and upbeat despite the stressful conditions.
They should really change their website and print marketing to reflect that the restaurant is not actually open 7 days a week. We were kind of scrambling for food options due to this misinformation.

I really wanted to give this more stars. My in laws and I stay here multiple times a year for the last 10 years. We keep coming back for the pool since we have young kids. However, this time- when we booked there was only one night avail (we wanted 2) so I booked it and hoped there were cancellations, which there were, so we got another night and he said we could stay in our room. An hour later we get a call saying they have to move our room but that it is the same exact room just a level lower (I complied even tho it made zero sense- why not give the customers that haven't checked in yet the room if it's "exactly" the same). Well it wasn't- it was not updated, the tub/shower was falling apart, the beds were falling apart (every time you moved an inch it would loudly creek & sharp rails sticking out the sides). I know they can't control who their customers are but my lord- we were put on the worst floor- people up all night screaming and slamming doors running from room to room. I'm really sad about this- this is my go to hotel and I'm not sure if we'll be back

What started off as a great stay with Aileen unfortunately quickly turned into a 1star experience. I checked in on FRIDAY night in which I was treated and treated well, I landed late and originally was supposed to checkout the next day but plans changed. From Saturday to Monday I was greeted by pleasant staff , a male(I do not know his name ) and Aileen they ensured my stay was excellent going over and beyond to make sure my stay was pleasant and comfortable. Well that changed today. On Monday , I spoke to the young man at the front desk and explained though I had requested housekeeping I hadn’t gotten it for my whole stay. I originally requested it for 3:00 pm then corrected myself and requested 3:30 pm The housekeepers who appeared annoyed showed up to my room at 3:00 despite me making a correction with the front desk which wasn’t a big deal so I told them that I had changed to 3:30 and they came back around 4:30. Upon going back to my room I noticed the room wasn’t serviced completely still trash in the trash and all over the room but I brushed it off as they were ready to leave and after all ATLEAST I got my bed changed .
On Tuesday morning I called the front desk and explained I would be actually checking out today and Glenda explained I could only get until 1:00pm. I explained every other day I had 2 pm but overall just accepted 1pm and hung up the phone.
Within 2 minutes my phone was ringing again. I answered a lady introduced herself as Darlene the head housekeeping and immediately asked me if I was really leaving today. I told her I was then she became extremely combative telling me that the day before the housekeepers came a few times and I wasn’t ready for service .
OK? I explained to her they came at the uncorrected time I had originally told the front desk 3:30 and they came early. She began to argue with me and I explained to her I was in a zoom meeting and whatever discrepancies she had about her staff and the room cleaning was COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT and should not be brought to me . She argued with me that I had to stay on the phone despite me telling her I HAVE TO GO. From the beginning of the call she was accusatory combative and confrontational and I had NO IDEA WHY OR WHERE THIS CALL WAS COMING FROM! Her tone was condescending and rude.
I called Glenda back and explained that the head housekeeper had no business calling confronting me about the miscommunication of her staff as well as telling me “I HAD TO STAY ON THE PHONE DESPITE ME SAYING I HAVE TO GO” and she was dismissive saying
“Well she was trying to give you 2 o clock checkout “
I was completely confused because Glenda originally told me 1pm was the latest she could do and I accepted it. I HAD NO IDEA THE HOUSEKEEPER DARLENE WAS OFFERING 2 pm because from the beginning of the call she was trying to argue with me
UNPROVOKED. The call from Darlene seemed very random AND NOT ONCE DID SHE MENTION 2pm checkout .
It was the most UNPROFESSIONAL INTERACTION THAT was misdirected and I was collateral. There’s no reason any staff should have confronted me about anything that was going on as a result of miscommunication especially if I wasn’t bringing anything to their attention . DO BETTER HOLIDAY IN!

I travel for work almost twice a month and have stayed in multiple hotels across the country. This was a fun trip for my son but definitely one of the worst hotel experiences I have had and first time in a Holiday Inn. None of the front desk staff ACTUALLY knew basic info on the hotel (such as pool hours). Only one girl knew the answers to any question. The door on the pool was permanently locked and I kept having to get the front desk if I needed to get in. (One of the times I was in the pool and just had to run to my room, came back down to ask to get let back in, and she told me “thats because it is closed”… i said i was just there, she said “oh yea”…. what? 😂. Restaurant was never open for dinner like it says online. Only breakfast and the only actual options were eggs, sausage, bacon, dry potatoes, some bread options, some fruit (soggy), cereal and oatmeal. They even asked me what I would like to drink and never brought them over, just brought a check 20 min later and by that time I needed to head out for our time slot at Legoland. I then tried to get the coffee in the lobby and it was empty, and then proceeded to try to brew coffee in my room machine and it never worked. 3 of the lamps in my room were broken which is pretty big considering theres no main light and just lamps. The shower was leaking the whole time and never had hot water, i was taking cold showers. the toilet doesnt even flush all the way. The bathroom door wouldnt even close. And the door to my actual room wouldnt close all th way unless you pull it super tight, we found out because a lady had walked right into the room. There was a piece of metal sticking out the side of the bed. Only one elevator working for the whole building. Gym literally has 3 machines and dumbells. I had lost a room key and called to ask for a replacement and he told me to come downstairs (you cant use the elevator without a room key) I told him… “dont i need a key to get downstairs?” he said “yes” …. okay sooooooo. I then proceeded to say well can i take the stairs, he said “we dont have stairs”….. okay sooooooo. Finally he said “i can TRY to bring it upstairs for you” …..okay….. 😂 Like everything gave clueless.
On a good note, the pool area was great for my son and he had so much fun. He also like the extra cot they supplied for him because he’s a “big boy and can sleep by himself” 😂 . The location is also great, it is so close to Legoland and has so much within a small distance around it for food, shopping, etc. And overall really clean lobby and room.
