Unacceptable hygiene and dishonest management My stay at this hotel was an extremely disappointing experience, mainly due to a serious lack of hygiene, observed deliberately and repeatedly throughout the stay. These issues were reported several times and acknowledged by the staff, yet no lasting or effective solution was provided. In addition, the hotel manager demonstrated dishonest and disrespectful behavior. On site, he clearly promised a compensation for the inconvenience caused. Once the stay was over and after our departure, this promise was followed by deliberate silence, despite multiple follow-up attempts from us and from Expedia. This behavior is unacceptable and reflects a clear lack of professionalism. The facts reported are documented with photos and are based solely on a personal and verifiable experience. Of course, it is possible that some guests may not encounter the same issues. However, based on my personal experience, if you have equivalent alternatives, I strongly encourage you to seriously consider them, especially if you plan to stay for several days, as this type of situation can significantly harm the quality of your stay. I do not recommend this establishment.

Location is perfect as our son lives near. Rooms are clean but dated especially the bathrooms and not a fan of carpet. Staff is very nice, it’s not that we have a service concern but the free coffee area always lacks creamer, sweeteners (during our 3 day stay there was no regular sugar or regular creamer). Our first morning, there were no cups so not sure how often it’s restocked. For $15, you get a buffet. The offerings would be free in other hotels. The amount is steep for what is offered and there are no alacart options. If guests have dietary restrictions, not many options. 8th floor also smells like smoke. Again, staff was really nice!

I drove in from central Vermont for a medical appointment. I was alone and nervous. I got to this hotel way before check-in time and expected to sit in the lobby for hours. Aileen found me a room within minutes of coming on duty that morning. Her smile, kindness, wonderful service made my day a bit easier. Each time I passed the lobby we’d chat for a minute. She’s a lovely young lady. Any company would be blessed to have her as a long-term employee. If you want to keep her, notice her talent and work w her toward advancement! She’s a star!!

This hotel exceeded all my expectations, starting with the front desk staff, especially Dee, who was incredibly friendly, helpful, and efficient. The facilities were spacious, and I loved the pool area with its game tables, half-basketball court, and a pool larger than those at other hotels. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast included in my rate, served in the restaurant, was delicious. I definitely loved this hotel and hope to return soon.

I stayed here for a one night weekend vacation, I will not be staying again. The location was great, surrounded by many local buisnesses and public transport, close to downtown Boston. The good things about this hotel don't go much further than that. Upon arrival one of the counter staff ignored guests waiting patiently to check-in, busy staring blankly presumably day dreaming while the other staff member tried their best to take care of everyone. The room we stayed in was somewhat clean, there was hair in the tub, toilet and sink. Some tables and cabinets were sticky or soiled in some spots and clearly untouched by cleaning staff. The carpets and curtains were stained. Our sheets were torn in several spots and in poor condition, though they were cleaned. The heat/ac unit in the room was aggressively loud on its quietest setting. If you have ever slept in a shipyard surrounded by fog horns you can expect a similar experience here, I definitely recommend earplugs. There was no microwave in the room despite it being advertised with one. The continental breakfast was extremely disappointing, especially considering breakfast is not included with many stays and boasts an excessive price for wet eggs and microwave bacon. The breakfast here is sub par compared to every other holiday inn or holiday inn express I've been to. Breakfast was included with our stay however the hotel did attempt to bill me for the breakfast anyway and would have charged it if I had not asked and insured the charge was removed. If you have a booking with breakfast included make sure the charge is removed before checking out. Another thing to remember is parking is not free and not always available, you can expect $20 or more a night for parking. The mbta offers overnight parking less than a mile away for a quarter of the price I highly recommend it. In general I would not recommend staying here unless the price appropriately reflects the quality of the stay.
