  After I checked in I went to my room after a long day at work. I wanted to relax and watch a movie and enjoy my room. However this became a very frustrating issue and there was not help. The Internet was down, but the regular cable worked but the tv was having issues. I asked the lady at the front desk for help but she was unable to offer any type of solution or assistance. I was trying to screencast from my phone of the TV because there was an option present but it didn't work. the TV also had a broken spot in the screen which contradicted the statement from the desk saying that they just got new TVs LOL. I stayed here for a few days for business travel and I wouldve chosen another hotel if I had know the lack of service and function this hotel offered deapite its name. Overall the hotel was decent but far from Royal, They might as well change the name to Best Western Motel, bothing more, nothing less.

  BW partners with a company called guestreservations. It plays it off like its BW.. and if you make a mistake on your reservation they take your money , and refuse to try to change your booking or help you. BW plays the game with them.. each pointing fingers at each other. BW corporate people? ZERO HELP.. zero effort to even try to understand the issue. They just immediately pawned the issue off at the 3rd party company. SHAME ON YOU.

  Two years we stayed for Pintastic in a row and the service and quality was consistent. I had no problems at all with anything. This Beat Weatern seems to be run very well and with lots of integrity.

  We stayed at the Best Western this past weekend for a convention. We had a few issues that the staff was absolutely not interested in even entertaining the idea of resolving. This is a pet friendly hotel. Both my brother and I have pet allergies and woke up super congested every morning. They are not thoroughly cleaning these rooms after pets stay. There was an unbelievably bad smell in the elevators most of the weekend and probably still. I heard someone may have puked in there. Whatever they did to clean it was not nearly enough. They handed me a voucher card for breakfast at arrival. It was dated and said breakfast until 11AM. I showed up at 10AM and breakfast was closed. There was no other food available. I went to the front desk hoping for some resolution and was basically told too bad. After more conversation, she took my room number and said someone will reach out. Nobody reached out. Abysmal customer service. The food at the bar was actually half decent, but they were not prepared for the amount of people despite this event happening every year with the same crowd. One of the bartenders was very rude. There are several other hotels in this area. Do yourself a favor and pick a different one.

  The rooms are older but decent, but our heater was LOUD, the AC didn't work, and the thermostat knob (yes, knob) was physically broken so it was only On or Off. The breakfast buffet was great, and the service there was the best I've had at a hotel buffet.
