“Pawsitively Perfect!” – A Dog’s Review of Hampton Inn Cape Cod Canal
I give this place four paws up! As soon as my human opened the car door, I caught the scent of salt air and squirrels. The canal was right there—a long, winding sniff trail with birds to bark at and joggers to greet. No need for leashes and long car rides. Just tail-wagging freedom.
Walkability? Oh yeah.
We trotted straight from the hotel to the canal path. I led the way, of course. My human followed with coffee and compliments. We passed boats, bikers, and other pups. I even made a friend named Daisy (she’s a golden, very polite).
Room review:
Soft bed. Cool tile. No weird smells. I slept like a pup. My human said something about “clean rooms” and “friendly staff,” but I was busy guarding the window from seagulls.
Nearby treats:
There’s a place with bacon. I don’t know the name, but I remember the smell. My human called it “Buzzards Bay.” I call it “Heaven.”
Final bark:
If you’re a dog who loves long walks, canal breezes, and humans who smile at you, this place is a tail-wagging dream. Bring your leash, your favorite toy, and your best begging face. You’ll love it here.

Well, let me start off by saying my wife and I travel maybe 3 to 4 times a year. This place was definitely a home run. The staff went above and beyond .. It has to be the largest room I ever stayed in for the extra couple of dollars we decided to have a view of the canal which we thoroughly enjoyed. Below are some photos of our trip the breakfast was great coffee available 24 seven. We woke up early enough to watch the sunrise in front of the fire pit. The walking trail was located right outside the hotel‘s door. We Rented bikes from a local vendor and traveled the 14 1/2 miles. I would definitely recommend this location, easy enough to pick up one of the Bridges to head to mid Cape if needed ….THANK YOU again to the staff for making our anniversary a truly memorable one..
The only thing missing was a hot tub outside that would’ve been the cherry on the cake, but the pool area was fantastic!!
Sincerely, the Carvalho’s :)

This Hampton Inn delivers what they have advertised but what cannot be advertised is how incredibly helpful and friendly the staff are. I had a medical issue overnight and they went above and beyond to help.
