Beware of the valet package where the hotel charges an extra $75 per day. My car had paint on it when the car was returned by the valet. The valet did not remove the paint. They promised to send an accident report to me and did nothing. When I informed the front desk of the hotel about the problem the hotel said itâs the valetâs problem and the hotel did nothing to resolve the issue. Further, absolutely no follow up by the hotel or valet. I had to go to a local auto body shop to remove the paint.

First of all, let me say that overall I had an amazing experience. At first approach the valet was courteous and asked questions about us, and wished me a happy birthday! Check in was smooth, even though our room wasn't quite ready yet since we were early. They held our bag so we could go walk around. The room was nice corner room on the 7th floor with the fireplace! For "complaints"... First was the walls in the room were in some desperate need of TLC, I don't know if it was water damage or what. The fridge was not very cold. And there was still a woman's hair in the shower. đŹ My husband and I walked around and took in the historical hotel and loved it. I would absolutely stay here again, despite the couple odd things.

The staff are all so welcoming and professional, even down to housekeeping. They were so accommodating and upgraded our room when there was a drain issue in bathtub. Room was always so clean and welcoming when we returned after a day of exploring. And the location is perfect. Room service was amazing every time all the food was so good.

Had a wonderful stay in a fireplace room on my birthday. On a cold night having drinks by a fire in the city is such a treat! This hotels staff has the best hospitality Iâve encountered in a long time, so welcoming and accommodating. The drinks and food at the Irving were delicious and the ambiance is top notch. Will definitely be returning!
