Our room was very loud. Whenever the central air came in there was loud knocking in the wall and a loud motor. Woke me up multiple times each night.
Also very pricey. Convenient only because it was a block from the cruise ship port.

I had a reservation which made check-in easy as usual. That said, I was there a bit before 3pm and despite my room being available they want an extra $50 for early check-in. Seriously??? Instead I checked luggage with bellhop guy for free and walked around the seaport area for an hour. Not a bad walk, but super annoying to try and get me for $50. Shame on Hampton Inn. Room was fine. Why do their bathroom exhaust fans NEVER ever work? Place was clean. Typical blah breakfast stuff included. Location is just a few easy blocks from convention center if that's your thing and seaport area is also walkable if you have some time. I do wish they had an airport shuttle.

The most stressful and unsafe hotel experience I’ve ever had.
This was genuinely one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Around 2 a.m., I went down to the lobby to grab my DoorDash, and when I tried to go back up, the elevator suddenly stopped working — even though it had worked earlier without needing a room key. I had accidentally left my key upstairs, and suddenly, I was completely locked out of my own floor.
To make things worse, since my sister’s boyfriend booked the room and I didn’t know his last name off the top of my head, the front desk flat-out refused to let me go back up. I explained the situation multiple times, but the staff couldn’t have cared less. It was 2 in the morning, I was stuck in the lobby, my ID was in the room, and my sister and her boyfriend were asleep — not answering their phones. Their response? “Well, they need to confirm or you’ll have to find somewhere else to stay.”
As a woman, being told to “go somewhere else” alone at 2 a.m. in an unfamiliar city was absolutely terrifying and unacceptable. I felt completely unsafe, stranded, and ignored. It took a manager physically walking me upstairs and knocking on the door to confirm I was staying there — which was embarrassing, unnecessary, and could have been avoided if the staff showed even a little common sense or empathy.
And as if that wasn’t enough, housekeeping came banging on our door at 7:35 a.m. for room service — seriously?! Every other hotel I’ve stayed at starts cleaning around 11, after check-out.
This entire stay was chaotic, unsafe, and incredibly unprofessional from start to finish.
If you value basic safety, hospitality, or respect, do yourself a favor and stay literally anywhere else.

Highly recommend this Hampton Inn location. The site is perfectly located in southern Boston. The service is impeccable and amenities even better. The housekeeping team is so lovely and caring. Ms Melissa and Cecelia have made my weekend so special!
The breakfast is great and provides so many options from Keto to Gluten Free. There will be no hungry picky eaters.
Check in and out were super fast. Valet parking, though not free, kept our safe and brought it around fast.
Again, couldn't recommend this location more!

I hope you like walking...this hotel isn't really near anything. I didn't mind the walk but it's at least 20 to 30 min to get to places. The cleaning staff and the Valets were helpful and very nice, wish I could say the same for the front desk staff. My boyfriend and I always stay at Hilton rewards hotels because he is a member and this front desk staff was the least helpful by far. When we asked Natalia where she recommended to eat, she handed us a paper with restaurants on it and told us the best way to get there was Uber or walk. The Valet told where to go and gave us directions. And the free breakfast....way too many people in a little space to eat. The kitchen staff couldn't keep up with the demand of all the people and there wasn't enough seating. Being a Hilton reward member we frequent many hotels we like....this will not be one of them.
