Great place to stay if you are going to the theater district. Their was a lot of noise from the clubs let out to the point the police were called. Room felt a little tight, but for a city it is about what you would think. The bed did hurt my back the next day, and where we arrived they had us check in while the hotel staff was working on the room. Which seem a bit disorganized, but free fresh warm cookies when you checked in.

Wanted to come to Boston for my 65th birthday. Booked thru Amtrak vacations. My initial room given (413)had problem with door jammed from the start despite having ‘green code’ room had no ventilation also. Had to call cleaning lady to open door twice! When I asked for another room, I was told a technician would come like it was the only room available. After repeatedly said I wanted another room, Meela (not sure of spelling) offered a similar room on a different floor where I had no problems with door or ventilation inside. She was patient and kind despite my irate attitude understandably after my long trip to get here. Thank her for hospitality shown & I can enjoy my vacation now.

Lovely greeting by the reception staff. Felt safe here and the room was clean and spacious. Good location to get around..10 mins from Boston common, the tube station was across the road. There’s a Starbucks on site, restaurant and bar were lovely. It was quite noisy at night with sirens etc from the medical center, but with ear plugs, it was fine. Would stay here again.

Omg, this is SO not a 4 star hotel, I don’t know where to begin. First, heating system was not working in the living room, okay the technician fixed it the same day, thanks. Then in the middle of the night toilet sensor started beeping like crazy and they did not have anyone to fix it till the next day. They did not offer another room to move or a discount. Hotel restaurant has literally one good dish and one good appetizer. There is nothing else to eat there. Outside there are only Asian restaurants and a few pubs. Thanks God Whole Foods is not far away and our room had microwave. I don’t know if the whole double tree by Hilton chain is that bad or just this particular location but I’m gonna stick to Marriot next time. Never had these issues there. Oh yes, and bottled water was served in plastic bottles. Thanks for extra toxins. Ever heard of glass bottles? I’m so shocked with everything at this hotel.

This Hotel is conveniently located right across from the Tufts Hospital Emergency Department. When choosing a room, make sure you know which side of the building you are considering because you will either want to pick a room that is opposite the ambulance entrance, or bring ear plugs for sleeping. The valet parking is convenient, but the hotel daily rate is pretty high. It was $68 per day at the time of this review. The restaurant in the hotel serves a nice selection of local fare as well as some comfort classics like a burger. They have a full bar and friendly staff to serve you. Overall, the hotel is clean and appeared well maintained. I was even impressed by the quality of the tap water. I'm not sure about the rest of Boston, but you can definitely drink the water in your room. I know this is a weird thing to review, but IYKYK.
