We stayed at Canopy for 1-3/4 days because our flight to Dublin didn't leave until 9:20pm. First off, the gentleman that helped us check in was super nice and welcoming, probably one of the highlights of the entire trip. I commend Hilton on that hire fore sure, and damn it, I cannot remember his name..... I'm so sorry sir, my memory sucks!
Upon arrival in Boston, we knew it was close, but damn, it was really close to the airport. I think you could literally throw a rock and barely miss the closest terminal. It was literally 11 minutes pickup to drop off. It helped that our Uber driver knew the city, because he performed some questionable left turns to get us there that fast.
Upon entry into the room, we were surprised that the photos we saw saw were not just doctored up for Hilton's typical glamour party hotel shoot. It was actually a very nice cozy hotel room. We had a great view of the East end of the city and a bit of the airport in the distance. It has just snowed that day and as kids from Arizona, we loved the change. We didn't unpack much as we would leave the next night, late. The room was a very good size, and the bathroom was spacious. The shower and sinks were spotless. The room overall was quiet, even with a moderately busy few streets just outside. Watch my video to see how just how busy it was. At night the traffic died way down.
We ate at the Oyster House, which was right behind the hotel (2 min walk) and one of the reasons I chose this location. Save yourself the trip there. It was all hype! One of the most expensive 1 star meals I will ever pay for! We ate at the Rose Kitchen at the hotel, and had a much better experience there.
The hotel is super close to the start of the freedom trail, Sam Adams brewery, Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market and much, much, much, much more! I kid you not, it was a sightseer's dream location! Starbucks was literally a 2 minute walk from Canopy. Mother Juice (highly recommend) is 1 minutes walk from Canopy. Gordon Ramsay burger is connected to the hotel building. Tons and tons of options, besides the Oyster House.😄
We definitely would stay here again, but next time, we want to make it an extended visit.
