It was old looking, only some lights worked, there was no elevator, and the stairs creaked AWFULLY when you climbed them. The hallways had an old smell, and the lobby smelled like onions, of all things. There was a continental breakfast, but the only thing that was edible was the waffle. The eggs were mushy and tasted weird; one bite of the muffin had my mother in law gagging. The beds were decent enough, the rooms were clean, and they provided the rest we needed before a long hard day ahead of us. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The location was perfect in relation to the funeral home we were going to the next day. Not a great stay, but not the worst I’ve had.
