  It has been over a month since staying at this hotel . I still have not received my deposit back from this hotel . Also the stay was horrible , disgusting staff and rooms. Do not stay here this place needs renovations and a whole new staff .

  Hello . I stayed there 2 nights ago . First I’m going to start of with the front desk girl linchell was amazing and made us feel like we were home , she’ even went out her way to please us by doing some of housekeeping work. She’s great Hotel was a lil dusty and Breakfast was ok, butt we enjoyed our stay just fine . I would recommend staying at this hotel .

  I can say the customer service was good but the room smell was horrible it wasn’t clean worst holiday inn I slept in so outdated looks like a motel from the inside The girls at the front desk were nice

  My wife and I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Slidell at 623 Voters Road to celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary and enjoy the Mardi Gras festivities. We had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Why We Loved It: • The Perfect Location: Slidell was the ideal "sweet spot." We were close enough to dive into the Mardi Gras excitement of the Big Easy, but we loved being able to retreat to a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere at the end of the day. • Anniversary Ready: The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. From the seamless check-in to the spotless room, the hospitality matched the spirit of our celebration. • Comfort & Quality: After long days of parades and walking, the bed was incredibly comfortable. Everything was clean, modern, and well-maintained. • Great Value: Compared to the sky-high prices in the French Quarter during Carnival season, this hotel offered fantastic amenities and service without the "festival markup." • A Fantastic Breakfast: We looked forward to the breakfast station every morning. It was fresh, well-stocked, and easily one of the best "free breakfast" setups we’ve encountered in our travels. Cornell was absolutely awesome and made us feel right at home. We also had the pleasure of being assisted by a very pleasant woman whose name escapes me, but her kindness didn't go unnoticed! And her tip to try the French Market Cafe’s muffuletta was spot on as it rivaled the famous Central Grocery, the originator of the muffuletta sandwich • The "Mardi Gras Sweet Spot": Slidell was the perfect home base. We were close enough to dive into the excitement of the parades, but loved retreating to a quiet, comfortable room at the end of the night. Summary: Celebrating a milestone anniversary during Carnival season can be stressful, but the team here made it seamless. Great value, great people, and a great location. We’ll definitely be back!   First of all the customer service is terrible. We received an email cancelling our reservation a day before we were leaving. They did not call us to let us know that we needed to pay before we arrived. When I called to speak to someone at the hotel a woman named Kourtnie picked up and was extremely rude, condescending, and just plain unprofessional. Our room was dirty and the bathroom was awful. There are stains in the carpet. There was no hot water and when I called the front desk they did there was nothing they could do about it. I called corporate several times and nothing was done to help us. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. The hotel is disgusting.
