We reserved a room in advanced and when we got there at 10pm on a Saturday night with small children we were told they knowingly gave our room away an hour before and did not call us to let us know. Not only did we no longer have a place for us and our kids to sleep that night but they would not refund us immediately and we would need to call the 1800 number Monday morning. The guy at the front desk showed absolutely no empathy.

Very Disappointing Stay – Poor Service and Dirty Property We booked this Holiday Inn for a quick getaway because it advertised an indoor pool. My husband even called twice before booking to make sure the pool was open. Like fools, we checked in, got settled, and headed to the pool only to be told it was closed because it was dirty and had been shut down all day. It’s unacceptable that staff would mislead paying guests about available amenities. People spend their hard-earned money expecting at least honesty and basic hospitality. The man at the front desk didn’t apologize or offer any kind of compensation just a nonchalant attitude and no real customer service skills. The hotel itself is also in poor condition. It’s dirty, and the so-called “upgrades” (like the new flowers and rocks) are just sitting at the front entrance, creating a tripping hazard. After this experience, I completely understand why the reviews for this place are so low. We honestly wanted our money back just to leave and go home. Shame on this staff and management for allowing such poor service and conditions.

This place is an embarrassment to the Holiday Inn branding. First thing I noticed pulling in was a high disregard for property cleanliness maintenance. Which would include landscaping, trash in and around the parking lot, add other basic property upkeeps. Almost everything metal in the room was rusted out. The hinges on the bathroom door and shelves in the bathroom all had rust. The office chair in the room was rusted up and down the side and the armrest. The door frame plate for the deadbolt was so loose I could physically jiggle it which you see in the video. And it was a non-smoking room that smelled like someone smoked 10 packs of cigarettes before I got into it. I came in from an overnight job and asked for an early check-in only to be told that was not possible. Compared to the Holiday Inn that I stayed in the week prior where the lovely front desk lady had zero hesitation in finding any available room with the understanding that I had been up for 24 hours straight. That was not the case at this location. This lady simply said 1:00 was the earliest and that there was nothing she could do she didn't even bother to check for available rooms. The hotel was empty all day and there were very few cars in the parking lot when I had left for the night job at 8:00 p.m.. there had to have been rooms available. However, due to her lack of assistance, I had to work with just a few hours of sleep. Also, if you stay here, lock your doors. It is anything but a safe location for vehicles I had to ask someone if I could help them as they hovered around my pickup wow looking inside of it through the window I'm 5 ft 10, 240 lb and a former Marine. So for me that's nothing to be concerned with. However, for a woman it could be a different story. Stay safe and pick a different Holiday Inn
