But Shalacie Lang and Frankie Dorrance went way above and beyond: when I went to my car in the morning to load up my luggage and leave, I found one of my tires flat. I asked Shalacie about a local tire shop to call and she called Frankie instead. They changed the tire for me right away, took only about 15 minutes, then recommended a local business to repair the tire! AAA said it would take 3 hours to arrive! These two women were so nice and so helpful - I will stay at this Holiday Inn and Express anytime I travel through Louisiana in the future!

The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, and when we requested additional bedding for the sofa bed, they provided it without hesitation. I also had the pleasure of speaking with Barbara Johnson, the breakfast attendant, to personally let her know that her breakfast spread was the best we’ve experienced across all of our stays. The biscuits were perfectly baked—golden brown with a crisp, flaky, buttery crust that paired beautifully with the gravy. Ms. Johnson’s biscuits truly stood out. The hotel’s location was ideal, conveniently situated just off the highway and close to a Walmart. As an added bonus, we appreciated the scratch-off card, which offered a chance to earn extra reward points.

We ate breakfast while we were there and it was delicious, Ms Lillie was an absolute sweetheart and made breakfast an amazing experience, will definitely be back here in the future!

The staff were all very nice and helpful. They even supplied me with a toothbrush, which I forgot to pack. Special thanks to Tyshockki who (which I found out later) stayed beyond her shift to check us in. Overall it was a very enjoyable visit.

Everything looked spotless and smelled fresh, which really says a lot about how well this place is taken care of. Check-in was quick and easy, and the front desk staff couldn’t have been friendlier. They even handed us a goody bag when I arrived, a small gesture, but it honestly made a big impression. The breakfast each morning was hot, fresh, not your typical “grab and go” deal. Everything was well-stocked and clean, and the breakfast staff made sure everyone was taken care of with a smile. Housekeeping also did a great job throughout my stay, super polite and detail-oriented. You can tell everyone here takes pride in what they do. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. Great service, clean rooms, and a really welcoming staff. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, worry-free stay.
