  Tv didn’t work, tried to use the phone to call down but phone didn’t work either. After the man tried fixing it & didnt .. the next day another guy came & did get the tv working. Then when we came back that night our keys didn’t work and we had to go back down there for new room keys. Also didn’t get towels brought when they cleaned the room, we had to walk down & ask for them. Breakfast isn’t free, I was stopped when I walked in there, this hotel charges $12.95 for it and should be free. It’s not the nicest & parking is a bit chaotic! Embarrassing to call this my hometown! If you want a nice hotel, stay at the casinos! All our smaller hotels are ran down bad

  I’ll start with the positive. Lequita at the front desk was beyond lovely and kind. Her customer service was exemplary! We were looking for an overnight stay to break up our long cross country drive. We’ve always had a great experience at IHG properties and booked ahead. When we arrived and went to our room, we were absolutely DISGUSTED! I wish I could add pictures to this review, but have sent them on to their corporate office. The floors weren’t vacuumed, toe nails and large yellow crusty stains on the carpet. Couch was covered in stains and had large patches of some sort crusty stuff. There was toothpaste on the counter in the bathroom and the bedroom literally made me gag. Stains I can’t even begin to explain without gagging again. I hope that corporate will see this and make some changes because it was unacceptable and not up to IHG standards in anyway.

  I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Shreveport Downtown, and unfortunately this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had. Two things went well: the event we attended was conveniently located inside the facility, and the two ladies working in the Red River Restaurant were friendly, upbeat, and doing their best despite being the only staff members present. Because they were completely on their own, it took an hour just to get a hamburger — not their fault, but a clear sign of poor staffing. Everything else about the stay was unacceptable: • Staff members were inattentive, unresponsive, and in some cases rude. When I asked a male representative wearing a Holiday Inn shirt a simple question, he gave a short, gruff answer without ever looking up from his cellphone. • Housekeeping removed our towels but never replaced them. • The room was dark, dank, and dirty. See photo of moldy coffee maker. • The exterior windows were painted over, blocking natural light and making the room feel even worse. • There was confusion about check‑in time, and staff provided no clear or consistent information. • Shockingly, there was a man — clearly not a guest — sleeping in the stairwell inside the hotel. This raised serious concerns about safety and security. Because of this experience, I will never stay at this hotel again and will seriously reconsider choosing any Holiday Inn property in the future.

  Horrible hotel. The checkin was cool, but they put us in an ♿️ accessible room which was not booked at the time. The room had a wall that had been damaged so we could hear the outside motors on cars all night. The toilet was outdated, refrigerators old. It shows nice pictures online but not nearly the look. The hot water for showers was the best thing. The soap dispenser was not refilled for the body wash. I could hear the voices in the other room for 3am in the morning cursing and arguing. It was just a 1 night stay so lease to say, we won't be going back.

  We reserved a room week advance. Told agent time we would be in. We called when on the way… we were told everything would be fine if checked in by 2am. We arrived at 12am… reservation was cancelled and we were down graded room but luckily we got one. No refrigerator, no microwave as we reserved.. and TV didn’t work. This is by far the worst I have ever experienced from coming to this Hotel and I use for business… I actually came for a funeral this time and I would NEVER recommend anyone to stay here.
