Overall, the room was comfortable and the hotel’s location was convenient, especially being close to the airport. That made travel easy, which I appreciated. The breakfast, however, was just average — nothing particularly special or memorable. My room opened onto the hotel roof, so there wasn’t much of a view. The heating and air conditioning also took quite a while to kick in, so I ended up leaving the AC running throughout the day just to keep the room cool. Housekeeping could be more consistent — towels I requested didn’t arrive, and my room wasn’t cleaned for a few days until I went down to the front desk. When maintenance came to fix the drain in the tub, some dirt and shoe marks were left behind and weren’t cleaned afterward. It’s a decent place overall, but nothing exceptional for the price my company paid. The proximity to the airport is a plus, but most other attractions and dining options are a bit of a drive away.

Older hotel, does not look like the photos that are online. It is not a new location it’s 10 years old and was a Ramada before they purchased it so the rooms are very tight, smaller space not ideal for several people in one room. A lot of the items in the room were scratched, old and worn down and need to be replaced. The doors should be replaced as well the bathroom wood was stripping away across the bottom half of the door, that hadn’t been replaced. Bathtub should be updated the bottoms were darker and old, we used shower shoes. If this place had some upgrades to the rooms it would be a really great place to stay and if the cleaning crew would get more training. I asked for my room to be cleaned and no one came 2 days in a row to even check and see if we needed service. They finally come the night before I checked out. Front desk was so very nice and courteous they tried to help and put in cleaning request but the cleaning team doesn’t show up. Breakfast was the same each day nothing new or different, breakfast team was great and kind, kept everything clean and stocked. For the price of this room and the quality it doesn’t match (needs upgrades). The location is great if you are flying in but I wasn’t flying so that didn’t apply. They had a free shuttle to the airport which was nice. The lobby area is where much of the updates went for this hotel bc it is very nice and pristine, upgraded and all. But the rooms and everything else are another story.

My stay did not start great. I got to New Orleans and waited for the free shuttle from the hotel for about 45 minutes before just catching an Uber. I tried calling the hotel's direct line (call couldn't be completed) so I tried the corporate number. Disconnected once and the second person spent about 20 minutes trying to see when the shuttle would arrive, only to tell me they couldn't figure it out "in the system" and also couldn't reach the hotel directly by phone. Upon arrival, I did see the shuttle makes rounds at the top of the hour ever hour, but I was there that evening during that time frame and it did not show up. Check in process was pretty quick but the person who set up our room keys for a 2-night stay only set them for 1-day. So our 2 keys had to be reset after our first day. The breakfast is ok. Decent options but the bacon on the first day was burnt to a crisp. It was like eating crunchy tissue paper. They were also missing a few items on both days. We spent 30 mins at breakfast each day and those missing items were never replenished. The location of the hotel is not great. There really is no way to walk anywhere, so don't make that mistake. I had planned to walk to some places but it's located on like an industrial highway with no sidewalks, so you're not walking anywhere safely. It's about a 30 minute Uber to the French Quarter and about 20 mins to/from the airport. The rooms are ok. Nothing to write home about, but not disgusting. Nice size fridge, plenty of lighting, comfy bed, plenty of pillows. The biggest reason I booked here is because of its proximity to French Quarter and airport, but both require transportation like I said. Even the nearest restaurant (except for a sports bar next door) requires a ride. I front desk stays mostly vacant with the desk person in the back. You basically have to walk into the luggage room and yell for someone to come out. Someone showed me that and then I had to show someone else the next day. I think the property is probably understaffed and could use more help upfront and in the kitchen/breakfast area. I did greet one of the breakfast ladies one day and she was looking me right in the face and didn't acknowledge me. That bothers me too. Would absolutely not stay at this property again, but one of the gals upfront (whose name I didn't get) was great. She seemed to have way too much on her plate to really get the appreciation she deserves.
