- MMMFeb 22, 20265.0It was a great place to stay while visiting The Rosedown Plantation on our way to New Orleans. The hotel is less than 5 min. from The Rosedown Plantation, Butler Greenwood Plantation B&B, and The Myrtles Plantation. The restaurant across the street, Francis has EXTREMELY good food and has a beautiful outdoor patio with a large deck around a huge tree with lights.

The staff were amazing in providing general hospitality and help regarding the surprise. The breakfast was also pretty good , wish they had a little more but overall everything was great !

Also if you have your room key remotely near your phone you’ll have to get a lecture from the front desk about how if your key is by your phone it will deactivate, but it’s not their fault because they’ve had these locks for fifteen years and won’t upgrade. TV does have YouTube though so that was cool.
