- JRJames RNov 17, 20252.0This was our (my wife and I) 6th IHG hotel stay this year and the 3rd Holiday Inn Express stay. All except this one were excellent! So, you can imagine our disappointment to rate this one 2/5. Unfortunately, there were several issues - mostly housekeeping. We stayed a week. By the third day, no housekeeper had come to our room. I had to request this at the front desk. When we got back to the room, towels had been replaced but trash had not been removed and coffee station had not been replenished. Sheets were never replaced during our stay. Several towels had stains. One evening, a child was obviously running and jumping in the room above ours. After 30 minutes, I called the front desk. The lady said she would call and ask them to keep the noise down. About 3 hours later, the noise finally stopped. We have family in the area but will not be staying here again.

I don’t know who is giving this place anything above a two star, but for a Holiday Inn, it’s about as bad as it gets. Floors were filthy, soap dispenser in shower was empty, no wash cloths in the room, bathroom floor was cracked, tiles had grout missing, the sink was disgusting, shower tub had large chips broken off, much of the breakfast food was overcooked and terrible, no cereal bowls for cereal, no microwave or toaster to warm up bagels/toast/muffins, no fruit available, elevator was filthy and stunk … I could go on. I’m surprised Holiday Inn allows them to use their sign on front.
