- TDTabitha DavisFeb 12, 20264.0I recently stayed one night at the Holiday Inn Express in Raceland, LA and overall had a good experience. The hotel was clean, there was plenty of parking, and as a woman traveling alone I felt safe during my stay, which I really appreciated. They also offered a complimentary hot breakfast buffet that had a nice variety and was well-maintained. The main downsides were maintenance-related. The ice machine was out of order, and the refrigerator in my room did not stay as cold as it should. The staff member on duty was polite and offered to move me to another room, but mentioned the other refrigerators he checked felt about the same temperature, so I chose to stay where I was. Despite those issues, the cleanliness, safety, and staff courtesy made it a positive visit. I would stay here again.
