- SCShelby CoonDec 31, 20254.0We have stayed here before and the location is great if you need to be in Pineville LA. The service is fine and staff is friendly. The problem on this trip was the room. We checked in late at night and didn't discover until the next morning that shower curtain was completely NASTY and I don't mean just dirty or moldy, it appeared to be feces smeared on the outside of the curtain. The cleaning people should have seen this and replaced the curtain immediately. That was the main reason for the lower review. Its not the hotels fault for the incident but it is their responsibility to provide a clean room to the next customer. Other minor issues were a weird hole cut into the front side of the false part of the wardrobe area as if a light switch or something had once been there but removed and never repaired. Also the tub drained very slow resulting in standing water during showering. Parking was great, location is great. The prices were higher than normal for the suit but it was over Christmas time. We notified front desk of the issue and would have expected a follow up message from management. We will most likely stay here again but I can guarantee we will go over the room more thoroughly next time. If this had been my first experience at the hotel, I would not return, however, we have had great experience in the past.

After contacting AAdvantage they told me the hotel was not responding to requests. Was told that a digital card was sent over after I had to call AAdvantage again to get a hold of the hotel and the hotel would be reimbursing me. Almost a month after I stayed there this still isn't resolved. AAdvantage tried to call again today to double check on what was going on and can't get a hold of the hotel. Booked the hotel for the gym which was closed.

This establishment is in a good location with restaurant options within 10 minutes drive. Alexandria is a good place to stop and rest especially if you're driving to avoid government shutdown airport issues.
