My stay at the Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans was an unforgettable memory. The room was spacious and clean. The front desk associate was pleasant to talk with. The housekeeping went above and beyond to organize my belongings and hygiene products. This was an overall unforgettable experience. March 7-9 2026 stay.

Not four seasons level. Housekeeping drama. Smooth check-in. No shampoo in bathroom on arrival. They come in when the private sign is on, next day no turndown service. Be aware: 4 times a night a heavy train passes by, using the horn all the time. 1000 dollars per night and you even need to beg for coffeecapsules. Breakfast costs 55 dollar pp and they charged me 30 dollars to much (corrected after I complained) No response on my mail to concierge asking fof a reservation. Still a guest at the hotel at the moment I write this review so might get updated

This was my second time staying at this property on business. The hotel is beautiful, location is great and the service in most cases is wonderful. The exception was today. I woke up with a severe migraine and realized I needed to push my flight back to get some extra rest. I called the front desk and due to the time I needed to check-out had to pay a half day rate which I had no problem with. The issue came when housekeeping knocked on my room door several times throughout the day wanting to know if we were still in the room. Each time disturbing my needed rest. The final interaction was a housekeeping manager knocking on the room door at exactly 5:31pm when I was actively trying to leave the room since I requested a 5:30pm check-out. I’m not sure if it was a lack of communication between the front office and housekeeping or something else but overall it was a terrible end to my stay. I stay with the Four Seasons brand often and have never had this type of experience. Unfortunately this will most likely be my last time at this property as I can’t trust the level of service I expect to be received.

I’m very disappointed with stay at Four Seasons New Orleans. For a hotel of this level, the service was far below expectations. The minibar was never restocked, even though we requested it twice. We had also asked for extra pillows before arrival, but they were only delivered after three days — and even then, in the wrong quantity. The pool staff were particularly disappointing: unfriendly, unhelpful, and quite rude. We constantly had to wait a very long time just to get a menu or place an order. On top of that, housekeeping would enter the room even when the “Do Not Disturb” sign was clearly displayed, which is completely unacceptable. After emailing with this feedback to the manager, but he didn’t even bother to ask for details about what exactly went wrong — he simply sent a generic apology, which only added to the frustration. The only positive part of our stay was the restaurant and the lobby bar — both were excellent and lived up to expectations. Unfortunately, everything else did not.

In a city of lovely people, the only rude person we encountered in our five days in New Orleans was the woman at the check in desk. We arrived for our 4pm check in and was told the room had not been cleaned yet. We decided to go explore and asked for a map. She said they didn’t have any. (Two days later the very accommodating manager actually walked over to another hotel to get us one. ) We asked for directions to the French quarter, she said she did not know, although it was exactly one block away. We booked a double room with two queen beds. When our room was finally ready we discovered it was an inside room with no windows. My companion is very claustrophobic, so we asked to switch it . The woman told us it was the room we booked, so “it was on us, not her.” Never did the booking information say it was an inside room. When we insisted we talk to the manager, she called him and he told her to find us a different room. The room walls were very thin. One night the couple in the room next door had a screaming fight and we could hear every obscenity.
