When we arrived our initial room didn’t have AC and we requested someone to fix the issue. The person came and went with a tool box to the toilet and opened the vents (while it was the thermostat which was broken and not even connected). After about 10 minutes of moving stuff around he took us to another room which was 2 queen beds: I paid for a KING size bed for me and my partner. Not two beds! So he took us to a 3rd room with ONE queen size bed. I had to go to reception and complaint with the front desk as the situation was ridiculous (arrived at 8:30-45 and at 9:20/30pm still didn’t have a room) It completely bummed me out for the first night out in New Orleans and after a super long trip to get there. When we finally got the room, I found dirt and hair all over the toilet and around the bathroom floor. I had Clorox wipes and used them because another room change would be ridiculous. You definitely need to DO BETTER or lower your prices.

Just got to hotel room and tv is not working. Called front desk been on hold for 20 min. Called 800# and been on hold for another 20 min just to get hanged up on. We are on the main level and can hear the people walking by talking and the street noise. Very disappointed to be a at Platinum level at IHG but not getting the level of service expected.

If you hate five star service, an amazing historical building, comfortable surroundings, and a friendly atmosphere, then you wouldn’t want to stay here. I feel so fortunate to have spent time in this place, and can’t wait to come back. I was thrilled from the second. I walked through the door I was treated like I was valued by the doorman Charles who has helped me many times since. The other Charles, who checked me in, was so very kind and took his time with me. I enjoy my chats with Jay and Anika. Every time I walk through the door, I’m treated like I belong here. I truly do not ever wanna leave, sad that I have to.
