- CHChris HDec 27, 20254.0This hotel has very nice rooms, but we will likely stay elsewhere on our next trip to New Orleans due to the noise from the train and because the service was on par or a little below the many fine hotels that have a cheaper rate. The positives: the rooms are excellent, modern and beautiful. The bedding very cozy. Housekeeping was great. The negatives: Occasional noise from a train early in the morning. Most electronic things in the room did not work (the do not disturb light got stuck on, the speed dial on the phones didn't work, there was an ipad beside the bed that did not turn on). Service at breakfast was slow at times, as was delivery of items we requested for the room (e.g. non feather pillow). Billing not itemized at end of stay.

So happy we picked this hotel. We used the Amex platinum FHR deal, and got an upgrade and river view, resort credit of $100 to be used on anything, and breakfast of $120 per room per day. Great deal. They gave us an early check in and late check out too.
