So far while staying in New Iberia for work, the Holiday Inn is definitely the best choice. It's updated, good breakfast and nice staff.

This location is convenient for a local large company that I have to work at from time to time. The rooms are a little dated, but okay. The room doesn't smell moldy like some other hotels. The breakfast is typical of most holiday ends. I would recommend getting a room away from the highway side to avoid the noise.

The check in process was slow, Heather was in NO RUSH whatsoever. There was an obvious face mask on the floor in front of the microwave. There were long black hairs in the sink and face towels were very dingy.
At 5:54 AM There was loud banging on someone's door while someone yelled "Police" several times. At 6:07 AM, the phone rang with a wake up call which we did NOT request at which time we were unable to go back to sleep. I love Holiday Inn and will continue to frequent them, but this experience left a bad taste in my mouth.
Free breakfast was a bonus, but they need to steer clear of the cheese omelet and just do scrambled eggs. Pork sausage were crunchy from being overcooked while turkey sausage was undercooked.
