  1st The good, room 323 was clean and smelled clean. The bed was comfy and so where the pillows. Coffee bar was stocked and they provide a decent continental breakfast, cereal, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, sausage (though not sure what these are actually made from, they where to rubbery to cut with a plastic fork but they chewed up well enough) Bacon and scrambled eggs as well as warm cinnamon rolls. The staff we interacted with where for the most part friendly and caring. **Now for the reasons they did not get 5 stars** 1st strike: Jerry the at front desk check in was completely incompetent had no real idea how to work the hotel's computer system did not even know how Holiday Inn IG Rewards card worked which we have been members on for about 20 yrs. He could not apply our discount. He could not even answer basic questions. He did apologize alot in a running litany. (I REALLY HAD A BAD FEELING at this point and knew we should just leave and go somewhere else. Always listen to that little voice when it tells you something) So it took super Jerry about 40 min to check us in it was midnight and we where so tired we just went with it MISTAKE! 2nd complaint ( room 323 on 3/27/26) the antI-slip in the shower is completely worn away it is dangerously slippery and no grab bars so if you fall it's going to hurt. My wife almost fell and she warned me and I almost fell and slipped twice even with the fore knowledge. 3rd The tiolet tank is so corroded with lime scale build up that it literally takes 6 min for the toilet to refill between flushes. I honestly thought we where going to have to ask for the plunger. This is really tacky and could have been embarrassing. We reported these deficiencies to the manager and she graciously apologized (they do alot of that here) and gave us 5000 rewards points. Which seemed good but when I looked it up it appears to be between a $16 and $20 discount. I really feel 25,000 or 30,000 points would be more appropriate. I think it would have cost them a whole lot more then that if me or my wife had actually would have slipped and fell in the shower.? I'm sorry but for $223 for one night with taxes they should have done better. We will never be darkening there door again.

  Absolutely disgusting rooms. Filthy. I wouldn't recommend anyone stay here, ever. The room hadn't been cleaned properly in years. It smelled terrible. The bathroom door wouldn't close. There were dead roaches and stains on the carpet. The window and TV were stained with what looked like bodily fluids. I was happy to get out of there first thing in the morning. Absolutely appalling conditions. You should be embarrassed. I have photos. Just don't see a way to upload them to my review.

  it was very dirty! usually holiday inn's are very nice but this one was not very good. there was a dead roach in our room, so much water damage the bathroom door struggled to shut and it didn't smell very good. for $160 a night it was not very worth it. only giving 2 stars because the beds were so comfy, the breakfast was reallly good, and the people were friendly.

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I have stayed at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Natchitoches several times over the last two months, and every stay has been consistently excellent. The staff is always friendly, professional, and welcoming, which makes me feel comfortable every time I come back. The rooms are always clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. The hotel has a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, and the location is very convenient. It’s clear that they take pride in providing great service and maintaining high standards. I truly enjoy staying here and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. I will definitely continue choosing this hotel whenever I’m in Natchitoches.

  Stayed here for a graduation at Northwestern, rooms and bathroom are showing signs of age, easy on and off for nearby interstate. A few stores around. All and all, would stay here again.
