- SGSSC GasJan 16, 20265.0I've stayed at this hotel for the past 20 years. They have done a good job keeping it updated. It's relatively quiet hotel depending on some of the guests that don't know how to act in a hotel. I miss the old dog... Those of you who have stayed here in years past will know what I'm talking about. The staff is always friendly and the breakfast is usually clean and they stay stocked. They serve community coffee and usually cookies in the late afternoon. This day, the bed was great but the pillows were lacking. I had a great night sleep and the new blackout curtains are fantastic. The other great thing about this hotel and location is there's gas stations that serve anything you want is walking distance, Popeyes, Wendy's, Whataburger, and IHOP all in walking distance. So for those of us who travel for a living and do physical work it's nice when we can roll up to the hotel, take a shower and go for a little walk to go eat. I believe it's the same owner who owns all the hotels in that area except one that is now empty?? Anyway as the Best Western diamond elite number this is my go-to hotel when I'm in natchitoches Louisiana.
