  Amazing location! The staff here is excellent! Rooms are clean and the breakfast is great!

  I checked in around 3:30 4:00 PM almost Saturday when I did I asked Management or front desk personnel. Can I get a late checkout they said that in that location they do not do late checkout. I accepted it and went to my room when I arrived my room the window shade was broken. I cold front desk and they send maintenance. The man said that it cannot be fixed right away that I had to move to a different room. He left after a half an hour he came with a new room and himself said to me that if I wanted that extra time in the morning that I have it that they are giving it to me because the inconvenience I made my plans to check out at 2 o’clock since they gave me till two next day at 12:55 PM the front desk manager Kohl’s my room and said that there were no records showing that someone has gave me the extra time that I have to leave at 1 o’clock keep in mind that’s five minutes later I booked in a suite where my wife and three children are how are we gonna get ready in five minutes to leave? I felt like if I was treated like a homeless person I went downstairs to complain and the lady was very rude and told me to leave even though that I was speaking to another manager for the laundry, she was a very rude person and also prejudice. The worst experience I ever had in my life. I own businesses and I have a lot of employees they travel and we use a lot of the hotels that hotel was awful. I complaint with corporate and waiting for their response. Be careful anyone going to that hotel in Metairie Causeway, which is Holiday Inn.

  Sheets were old and beaded up, bathroom didn't have working vent. Lobby is nice, breakfast is $13, looked good but I ate somewhere else. Why is the shower handle so low?

  Look I have stayed in worse Hotels, but being this was Holiday inn I expected more. Room was hot, carpet was nasty with stain spots all over. Shower door wouldn't stay closed, shower head leaked and sprayed water everywhere. At breakfast they had no milk also which may not be a big deal but it was frustrating. The elevator inspections are expired as well. Last of all the different parts of the hotel smelt like sewer, especially the 3rd floor. The front staff was nice I have to say that at least.

  Hotel isn't bad however they advertised that they have an EV Charging at their location and they dont. My family made it here from Texas for Mardi Gras and to our surprise we were greeted with one huge surprise. I asked Morgan at the front desk for a discount since our reservation was booked thinking there was an Ev charger on-site and it isn't. With all the parades going on it was almost impossible to find charging for our vehicle. We ended up having to purchase an adapter and had the shipping expidited to the hotel to charge our car at one of the grocery stores. Morgan initially told my wife that she would get with her manager about a discount for our inconvenience but later texted me saying I wasn't eligible for a discount because I booked from a third party site which i didn't. I booked directly through my company website because the parent company is an affiliate of the hotel chain. I'm a transportation supervisor for UNFI in Lancaster, Texas and we service a large portion of the grocery and retail stores in the area. I don't recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. This was a major inconvenience for my family and I. I will be filing a formal complaint with my company to have this vendor removed from our list of hotels
