  Do not stay at this place. I booked and paid online. When I checked in after work they needed my card for a $50 security deposit but went ahead and charged me full price for the room again. My wife caught it the next morning and called me to tell them to straighten it out. I only stayed the one night. They eventually did but 3 days later they decided to charge my card for $94. I guess they didn't think we would notice. It's been 4 weeks and numerous phone calls to get my money back but "Jasmine" likes to play games a pretend to not understand anything about it. We've emailed them bank records of the charges and she always says "I will tell my manager". It's bullshit and there's no telling how many people that they have charged after checkout.

  2nd tv in suite only had 3-5 channels. The other TV was fine. Door key cards kept not working and had to be reset. Staff blamed it on our phones and non smart watches we were wearing. Never had a problem at any other hotel having a phone and using key cards. Very frustrating.

  The service is ok their nice but the fridge, room phone, remote didn't work. The bathroom light fell and broken glass was everywhere and could've hurt our kids or us and they still didn't change the light fixtures. The room keys kept rejecting and me and multiple customers had to keep getting their keys fixed. Something needs to be done. For those prices it should be way better than a super 8 but it's definitely not‼️

  By far the worst Best Western you can stay at, they cant clean a room with hair all over the tub and walls, the manger is by far the worst you can deal with. I have to checkout a few days ahead of my reservation and was told the manger would have to check me out and it never happened and I called several times and left my number to which he never.called.me back!!!!

  Horrible experience. Best Western use to be my go to hotel. Now my member points have to just piled up because I can't even use them. It's become hard to find a good clean Best Western. I started calling about 7am Monday morning because the website wouldn't let me book with my points. I called the 1800 number and got a nice young lady who took care of me. The problem came when I decided to add just 1 day to reservation. I was back and forth and the only solution they could come up with was an extra $300 for the one extra day. When I said I wanted the same rate as the other days, they said I had to call the location. I call the MLK location in Lake Charles. They tried to get me to pay the extra $300 as well. The receptionist said she would call the manager. His name is Paul and he was sorry and waisted my time. I didn't try to solve anything. I decided to just cancel and rebook everything. Called the 1800 number back. Was on the phone for about 30 minutes. The phone got disconnected. They never called backed and i refused to go through the torture of verification and being on the phone for endless minutes. It was now 2pm and i felt like almost my whole day was lost and no still reservation. I decided to rip the bandade, cancel and get an Airbnb. This is why so many traditional hotels are empty and alternatives stays are sooooo popular and lucrative. I decided to read a few of the reviews and they were horrible. I wish i would have read the reviews before i started to book at this dirty horrible Best Western. I bet this Best Western will not be full and I will be spending a full week somewhere else in Lake Charles
