    Friendly staff and clean room. Coffee area was nice. Breakfast looked good but couldn't eat. It seems to be right in the middle of a hopping area. Lots of shopping and food. I'm not gonna knock them but they were going through a renovation. It was organized and wasn't messy. Good value.

    CHECK YOUR FINAL BILL IN THE APP FREQUENTLY!!!! We stayed two nights: the hotel has been updated, the room was nice but the tub was stained, suggesting it had not been updated. Housekeeping knocked and supplied fresh towels because we were in the room. Climate control is left to the guest's discretion. Cox cable is available on the television. It's located near Acadiana mall and lots of restaurants. Now, the reason I would not return is we were charged a $300 cleaning fee for a "large red stain" on their carpet. Now who would leave a room damaged without notifying the desk, especially when their card is on file? That person should know that they would receive a bill, especially if they tried to hide it. We're frequent guests at Holiday Inn's and this has NEVER happened before. Housekeeping allegedly saw the stain after we checked out. (I recieved this bit of info from a guest relations manager). I WOULD HAVE TURNED MY CAR AROUND and returned to the hotel so they could show me the stain. Guest relations manager for IHG, Harvey, was absolutely no help. He claimed an email and photo evidence was sent to me. Of course I didn't receive it, and I know they have my email address because the confirmation was sent after booking. Harvey further states, any more correspondence must be directly to the hotel. An employee identified the name Tiffany as the manager of Holiday inn on Ambassador Caffery Pkwy in Broussard, LA and attempts to speak with her went unanswered nor did she respond to my emails. We cannot afford a risk of bank account overdraft because a shady hotel wants to use it's guests' payment methods for further (bogus) charges to help them pay their remodeling bill. Consider this a fair warning. 18 days has passed, no phone calls, no emails, no photo evidence of the $300 that was STOLEN from us, and yes, it's stealing if it's taken without my knowledge. I'll edit it again for as long as I need to.

    The location is now 100% remodeled and very very clean & comfortable. Tiffany/MGR is 'on top' of each area of the Hotel. Melissa/Front Desk is always so cheerful and helpful. We always stay here for several years, multiple times a year. Great location too!!!

    This place is absolutely disgusting. I’ve never seen a dirtier hotel in my life. The condition of the rooms is horrifying, and the bedbugs are ridiculous. This is not just a minor issue — it’s clearly an infestation. I even showed them pictures and the bites, and they still refused to admit there was a problem. The bugs were visible and the bites were obvious, yet the staff acted like it was nothing. The entire place is filthy. It looks like basic cleaning isn’t even being done. Dead bugs, dirt, and a general feeling of neglect everywhere. It’s shocking that a business can operate in this condition. Management’s response was exactly what you’d expect from people who clearly do not care about their customers or basic sanitation. What makes it worse is their attitude when you bring up the problem. Instead of taking responsibility or trying to fix the issue, they dismiss you and act like you’re the problem. Your response is typical of someone who doesn’t care about customers at all. For a place that can’t even keep the property clean, you should honestly be ashamed of yourselves. If you value your health, your money, or basic cleanliness, stay far away from this place. Unless you want to deal with bedbugs, filth, and management that refuses to take accountability, do not stay here.

    My husband needs to go to the hospital but could not drive and we have a 1 year old and 2 month old. I booked 2 nights to be as close to the hospital as possible and to allow my husband to rest. We only ended up staying one night due to the bathtub being disgusting. They refused to refund me for the second night despite the conditions of the bathroom. Management showed no concern whatsoever
