  We booked for one night on a Monday for a 2 king 2 bath suite we paid a premium for. We arrived after 4pm, mind you there is a sign posted that check in starts at 3pm and we were told that the room wasn't ready yet, so waited around until 5:30pm. Just to be given the wrong room. On top of that the room was unclean. So we called and was told that the room we wanted wouldn't be available for a few more hours. We asked for a discount on the room, and we we're told it wasn't possible because we booked through expedia. They also complained to us that, they only had two housekeepers available cleaning the whole Hotel. Frankly that is not something I'm worried about nor is that something any hotel guest should be worried about I just want the correct room, that's clean and I want it for the time I booked it for.

  Checked out after 2 nights, charged for 4 because they claim I never checked out. Went to the desk, gave the man working my card, told him my name, room number, and that I was checking out. He asked if I needed a receipt, I said no, I'll just get it on my account later. Called when I saw the charge for 4 nights, said they would get back to me. They never got back to me, so hear I am. When you overcharge someone by 2 extra nights, they shouldn't need to hound you for a response.

  Clean, convenient, and the staff are 5 star. We have stayed here before and look forward to a comfy bed and an awesome breakfast when we are in town.

  We are a Home2 family by default. When looking at the rate differences between Staybridge and Home2, it was enough for us to 'take a chance' on Staybridge. Boy, were we ever pleased! The Good: Service: From check-in to check-out, everyone made our little family feel welcome. My kids were greeted with smiles and jokes as often as possible. Food: Breakfast was always hot, ready, and delicious. I'm a black coffee drinker and their dark roast was perfect, full, and not watered down/weak. Rooms: Spacious, well equip, only things we ever needed was refresh on towels/dish washing powder throughout our stay. Cleanness: This was the biggest surprise; we are akin to 'neat freaks' so it's unusual that we'll look through our room and find nothing we want to clean more thoroughly than it already is. I can honestly say that as I wiped down surfaces making sure they were clean, I wasn't picking up any dust/food/hair etc that I'm used to cleaning up in hotel rooms. The not-as-good: Aesthetic: the only place that Home2 has an edge on Staybridge is in the overall curb/eye-appeal. There are small but noticeable errors in construction that just look off but don't change the quality of the stay beyond that whatsoever. Examples in our room were the cabinet was not seated flush against the sheetrock, so you saw 1-2" of gap between the two. Fridge has lines of rust forming from wear/tear. Sheetrock repairs didn't blend in with/were not installed right to begin with in some minor spots. And there was some plaster caked onto the carpet where it couldn't be removed (I know, I tried). Overall: 5 stars is appropriate. I'm surprised and so is my pocketbook! Way to go staff at Staybridge, you felt like family and we really appreciate that!
