The employee Chip made sure to answer any questions I may have had about the hotel and area. He got me into my room with ease. The moment I walked into the room, it’s not fresh and clean. The overall appearance of the room has kind of a cool retro modern vibe. Everything is neat and clean in its place in the room the bathroom with freshly stocked with towels and cloths. During the night for the most part, everything was very quiet within the hotel the only downside about this room and probably any room that is an even number room faces the freeway, so you do hear larger vehicles that may pass by, but it was not overly obnoxious. In the mornings, they do offer breakfast and coffee downstairs. This was a great incentive for the stay. All in all, I did get a great night sleep that was well needed.

I like to stay in the Hampton Inn's as they are generally clean and the customer service is fantastic. This was going to be my first time in Covington. Flying from Dallas, on Friday Sept 19th, I was caught in the national flight cancellations and delays. I wasn't able to make my reservation. I did book through a travel agency so there was a 6 day cancellation policy - to be fair. However, I have had a couple of other issues over the years where I wasn't able to honor the same policy - but the hotel managers where gracious and understanding. They waived the charge. The manager for this hotel wouldn't even consider - she just restated over to me that "there is nothing she can do" because I have a 6 day cancellation requirement. I am writing this not so much for the reason of holding me to my reservation requirement - but more so because of the disappointing way I felt treated by management.
