Welcome to the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chalmette. Just an 8 mile drive to the New Orleans French Quarter and Bourbon Street the heart of the city's nightlife. The area is also known for the annual Crawfish Festival, Oyster Festival, Battle of New Orleans re-enactment at the Chalmette Battlefield, and Los Islenos Festival. Chalmette also lives up to the state motto of being a Sportsman’s Paradise with world class fishing and hunting. Our 78 nicely appointed, spacious guest rooms and suites are all equipped with microwaves, compact refrigerators and free Wi-Fi. The hotel has an outdoor seasonal pool as well as a Fitness Center, 1000 sq. feet of available Meeting Space, Business Center and guest laundry. We provide all of our guests a Fitness Center, Stay Smart Breakfast as well as free parking. We welcome business travelers from around the area including Valero, NASA, Folgers, Domino Sugar, Chalmette Refinery and Jackson Barracks. We are located just minutes from each location and provide a true Southern Hospitality experience to all of our travelers.

We called this hotel last minute to see if they had availability, and Michael answered our call. He was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to get us booked. When we arrived, Michael personally greeted us and continued to be extremely helpful given our situation. His professionalism and kindness truly turned a stressful experience into a great stay. Thank you so much, Michael, for making our anniversary trip to New Orleans that much better! ✨
