On 11/08/25 my friend and I visited Live! Casino in Shreveport. We had a wonderful meal at the restaurant and initially had a great experience on the slot floor.
Around 2:30 PM I was playing one of my favorite slot machines. I had previously cashed out a $330 win and moved to another machine. I carefully checked the denomination before playing, as I have made mistakes with denominations in the past and am very mindful of that now.
I inserted a small voucher and a $20 bill, never betting more than $1.80 per spin. On approximately the fifth spin, I hit a win of around $280. Instead of cashing out, I chose to continue playing about twelve additional spins.
After those spins, my balance displayed $12. Based on my understanding of my play (approximately $1.80 × 12 spins), I expected my balance to be significantly higher.
I called for assistance. I was told the machine history could only be reviewed back ten spins, and that ten spins prior my balance showed approximately $15. I explained my recollection of events but was told by 2 attendants, there was nothing further that could be done.
I was also told there were no cameras facing that specific machine.
I was not offered to speak with anyone else, I was not offered a Patron Dispute Form, I had no witness, no pics or video proof.
I was so upset at that point, I knew I had to leave, or I would have caused a scene and embarrassed myself.
I left feeling frustrated and disappointed. Never to return.
While I understand losses are part of gambling, and this loss could possibility have been my error, yet the lack of clarity and resolution in this situation left me uncomfortable. I would encourage players to monitor their balances closely and document play if possible.
Worst casino i’ve ever been to! Decent rooms, that’s the only positive . Slots don’t pay out, tables don’t pay out. I’m not kidding, I didn’t see or speak to one person who won anything. I understand with q casino, the house has a slight edge, but it shouldn’t be a complete domination. They are also a new casino, so beware. They usually have tighter payouts to make up for their money. Also, they barely come to your tables for drinks. I played for hours and hours, I was only offered a drink once. And mind you, all I drink is water or non-alcoholic beverages. Will I ever go back? No. Oh, one more thing, people were chain-smoking at every table. Disgusting
My husband and I stayed at Live Casino & Hotel recently. I must say it was ABSOLUTELY amazing!! The hotel itself was incredibly beautiful with art displayed throughout the hotel from local artists. The sports bar and casino is extremely large with bars located to suit your needs. All the restaurants located in the hotel had world class dining. The staff went out of their way to make our stay memorable and pleasurable. There is a large outdoor area with a pool and cabana is perfect for the warmer weather months. Went for a Mardi gras ball.. not enough people working to help for the arrival..had to wait awhile for bellmen,to find out we had to share one.( which fine but) only three tissues in a tissue box made to look pretty then ,but was out..other Kleenex box empty. Paper cups barely enough would nice to have glass instead. Heard some friends had to switch some room due to AC. We took our own fan we knew better. The buffet,NOT a buffet,it was sausage/gravy, eggs,sausage, taters, bacon. That was it.,after waiting in a line with no one to address you,meet you,you had to wait to be seated. Had to have a friend go in who seen dirty tables, he basically stated HELLOOO, we are all waiting...out front. Then begin to clean up??? Wow we would have eaten elsewhere!!
The checkout date..only ONE BELLMAN that was working!!??? Took awhile once again giving him all the EXCELLENT MARKS I CAN!!!! he was still positive, smiling and doing his best!!! He needs a raise MGT AT LIVE CASINO!!!! If you know your having an event please have extra employees!! Not saying spoiled , but with dresse(s) shoe bags, luggage, tuxedo, ice chest gifts...yeah it ALOT TO CARRY......please work on this!!!!
