As an IHG Diamond Member I always enjoy staying at Hotel Indigos. They are all just so creative and cute. The staff was friendly and it was in a great location.

We stayed for an overnight two weekends ago. Upon receiving my vehicle from valet during checkout, my earbuds were stolen out of my case. Also, I had an important file folder hidden in my car. The file was on the back floor board, out of its spot, like it had been shuffled through and my son's SS card was stolen from it. (Yes I know, should not have been there, but we were traveling and I did check my app to make sure my car was locked when they put it in the garage for me overnight) I called the hotel, they took my number from me, but haven't received any follow-up.

I recently stayed at Hotel Indigo Baton Rouge Downtown and used valet parking during my visit. My vehicle was in good condition at the time it was turned over to valet. Upon checkout, my car was returned with significant damage to the front driver-side bumper and headlight. The damage was discovered immediately on-site, and a police report was filed prior to leaving the property. Since then, I have made multiple attempts to contact hotel management to report the incident and initiate a claim. I have provided documentation, including photos and a repair estimate, yet I have received no response or acknowledgment from the property. While I understand that incidents can occur, the lack of communication and follow-up has been extremely disappointing. I would strongly encourage better accountability and responsiveness when issues like this arise.

Firstly, the rooms were nicely appointed! Excellent decor, clean sheets, mostly great bathrooms. The shower door was broken and when requested to be changed/fixed, there was no effort to remedy the situation. Secondly, the staff was overall very unhelpful and unfriendly except for one person on the cleaning staff (only person who went out of their way to get our car from the valet when it wasn’t even her job) and the man at the front desk when we checked out who was very helpful and friendly. Other than that however, the rest of the staff didn’t seem to put much effort into conversation or helping us. Overall, we would stay here again but with much lower expectations. It was in a great area and again, was very clean and comfortable. Sidenote: Not a complaint, but the TVs were only cable, and I would have perfered to be able to sign into my streaming services.

Stayed here for two nights earlier this week. As an IHG Diamond Elite member, this was one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I have had in a long time, and I stay in IHG hotels at least 50 nights per year. First, none of the Diamond Elite benefits were offered at check-in. I was not provided with breakfast or any welcome amenity. The front desk simply checked me in without mentioning any elite benefits at all. The next morning I had to go back to the front desk myself to ask, and only then did they give me a breakfast voucher. Even worse, when I checked out, I asked for the folio and noticed that the restaurant had charged me for the breakfast that was supposed to be included. I had to go back and speak with the restaurant staff to get the charge removed. If I had not reviewed the bill carefully, I would have been incorrectly charged. The valet parking situation was even more unbelievable. When I requested my car at checkout, I was told that my vehicle had been booted and had received a parking ticket. I was simply asked to wait while they figured it out. It ultimately took over an hour for them to retrieve my car, completely disrupting my afternoon plans. To be fair, the hotel manager did apologize for the situation and told me that 20,000 IHG points would be issued as compensation for the problems during my stay. However, as of now I still have not received those points. While I appreciate the apology, a promise without follow-through does not resolve the issue. Between the lack of elite recognition, incorrect charges, extremely poor valet management, and the unresolved compensation, this stay was far below what I expect from an IHG property.
