  So I’ve stayed at this hotel NUMEROUS times WITH my dogs and never had an issue until today. I left this DOG FRIENDLY hotel late in the evening and received a noise complaint a couple hours later. I was told my dogs were barking for an extended period of time and that the “security” came knocking on my door to where he heard the dogs barking too. Any person with SENSE knows dogs bark when they hear noise (ie: KNOCKING), other dogs, or etc. I was told by this same security guard it’s not the hotel’s job to ensure my dogs were not barking (which I never asked them to be a babysitter to my dogs) but it’s their job to ensure all guests have a pleasant time here since they pay good money to be here. IS THE MONEY IVE SPENT HERE NOT GOOD?! When I first arrived at this location I was placed on floor 5. After I settled into that room, a staff member came to inform me I wasn’t on the floor allotted for pets so I had to move to floor 2 and the exact words of that staff member was “we don’t want you to get a noise complaint staying up here” So that lets me know the designated floor for pets is known to have noise!! It’s not my problem the hotel is limited on rooms to where they had to place some guests without pets on a pet friendly floor. Maybe the hotel staff should make them aware of that when placing them. I am completely angered by this situation and feel as though it should have been addressed differently. Maybe the security should have more training or become knowledgeable on what typically cause dogs to bark (knocking on the door then lingering around). As a frequent guest, I’m highly surprised by how this situation was handled. Based on what was said by the security guard, the pet friendly is catered to non-barking dogs and service animals. He said he can’t put people out who have service animals which makes me believe he was hinting at putting me and my dogs out if he wanted.

  Very ! noisy room (6.floor) In addition, there is a very strong smell of cleaning chemicals in the hallways and rooms. price-quality ratio not good

  Them damn salt & pepper wings!!! 🔥🔥 highly recommend the fresh chips instead of the fries! Can’t forget the bartender Shay, drinks were made to perfection!

  Without a doubt I would stay at the Holiday Inn, Baton Rouge on College Drive. I was there Feb. 19-21, 2026. I had a lovely two night stay. The desk agents were exceedingly helpful, prompt with my requests and very kind and professional. I had an issue with a needed refund and the hotel manager handled it with graciousness and ease. Plus, when the shower faucet was quite working correctly and I called down to the front desk to ask about it, no more than 5 minutes had passed before someone was knocking at my door to look at it. Within 10 minutes, the faucet was replaced and working perfectly. Stellar customer service all the way around. I highly recommend this hotel!
