Totally different experience this year. I am here for a conference. Customer service is non existant. When we checked in the front desk attendant was short with us. My colleague booked a pool view room and he said to her" do you have to have a pool view room." She was then given a different room. We checked in later at night so it couldn't have been a cleaning issue. Next: I ordered room service breakfast. When I called the girl was again, very short with me. When ordering I asked what type of toast they had to which she said "it's toast". I had to pry out of her the types of bread. Then she basically hung up after I ordered. I got my food, it was ice cold, no potatoes like the menu stated for what i ordered, the toast was hard as a rock, and worse, the tray was brought on a cart that has food stains ( fresh) all over it. Lastly, the in room coffee maker puts out cold coffee not even luke warm.
Here is hoping the rest of the trip is not as dissapointing.

Rooms are decent, clean and staff is just Ok. Rooms needs upgrading, one main concern is that the floors shake or its the building shaking kinda feels like a catastrophe waiting to happen, Some building inspections need to be done. Because we’ve seen what happens when things like this go unnoticed.

Lounge was closed and I found a small roach 😞. Bartender was awesome tho. Check in was ok. Every employee I saw seemed tired or not feeling it.

Let's start with the pros
Room was clean
Cons where to start
*. Got a junior suite for $400 / night (it was a joke the restroom/ shower and sink area were barely a closet so even though there's space in it there's zero way this room was worth what they're charging, and that was at a discount rate)
* Don't even bother with the restaurant on site unless you want the overpriced buffet. Like most hotel menus a la carte was overpriced BUT it wasn't just overpriced...it was massively overpriced for the cost of the hotel. (Stay at the Marriott across the highway instead their buffet is better even if they don't have a full menu, and they're more affordable)
* Restaurant at Crowne needs a full overhaul (it's definitely a management issue as every table that didn't get the buffet had the same problem).
* The elevator is making really bad noises and someone got trapped in it while I was there
Just don't...there are much better options for budget and much more luxurious options that are also less expensive. I was there for a conference but it might be my last time going, or if I go again I'm going to stay at a different hotel... It was just a really painful experience. This was my first onsite conference here since COVID and it's just gone downhill (I use to go every other year)

Parking is horrible. Took 45 minutes for a spot to open up because there is not enough parking for the capacity of the hotel and on top of that, they host conferences and events (plus, if you are a guest, they charge for parking) . Price — the room is extremely overpriced for what you get. The junior suite is 400+ dollars for less quality and amenities than I have had in suites half the price. And finally, the staff I worked with is borderline incompetent. Couldn’t answer any questions without calling for assistance We came for an event and arrived early we spoke to the person at check in and were told to wait until 1. I was in the lobby the whole time and noticed that the same person I had spoken to had started a line. When asked why, he told me that was for check in and I ended up behind about 45 people and even though I as the first one there, it took 2 and a half hours to check in. Final comment, my wife is disabled so she needed to stay on site in case I couldn’t drive her, but any hotel in town will treat you better and most are better values for the cost.
