Welcome to the Holiday Inn Alexandria - Downtown in the heart of Alexandria, Louisiana. The hotel is five city blocks off of Interstate 49 resting on the banks of the Red River. The Holiday Inn Alexandria - Downtown is Alexandria's premier full service hotel. We have Crossroads Tavern, Southern Heritage Bank branch and Aesthetician and Gold Dust Studio. The hotel has 11,800 sq. feet of meeting space and is attached to Alexandria Riverfront Center; which can accommodate larger groups. Enjoy the revitalized downtown entertainment district of Alexandria within a few steps of the front door. Centrally located between Shreveport and Baton Rouge off of I 49, a little over three hours NW of New Orleans, and less than an hour South from historic Natchitoches along the Cane River.
Dine at Crossroads Tavern and enjoy a specialty southern cocktail. Or sit in the mall area of the hotel and enjoy a cup of coffee or one of our signature coffee specialty drinks from the Coffee Corner. The hotel also has a gym, pool, and laundry room and we are a pet friendly hotel, so bring your best friend and spend some quality time in the dog park adjacent to the hotel. For the business traveler we are centrally located and no more than five minutes from all major industry in Alexandria Pineville.

- BDBreawna DavisDec 18, 20252.0Rooms are very old with rust, peeling paint, and damp smelling. Room wasn’t fully cleaned. Residue on the glass shower doors and floor needed to be scrubbed. Microwave smelled and needed to be wiped. All the surfaces needed to be wiped. Staff was nice and breakfast was well done, but I would not stay here again.

The water machine inside the fitness center does not work. Also, upon checking in I asked the lady at the front desk was the water behind the desk free and she said yes. She handed me a gift bag and put water inside. The next day after finishing up at the fitness center I stopped by the front desk to ask for a bottle of water since the machine inside the fitness center didn’t work. The guy at the front desk said “ did they not give you a bottle when you first checked in??” I said “ that was yesterday.. it’s a new day and I would like a bottle of water “ He proceeds to ask for my room number and then ask if I’m a rewards member and if so then he could give me a bottle of water. The entire interaction was very distasteful and unnecessary over a bottle of water. Will never return to this location.

The AC gets polar cold and the water gets boiling hot. They have breakfast, lunch and dinner at this property and the food was absolutely delicious. The ONLY complaint I can voice is that the sink & shower drains slowly. Best property we've stayed at this year 👍🏾
