- LMLisa Mann4 days ago5.0Check in was quick and easy. There was a pleasant young lady at the desk who was quick and efficient. We ended up having issues with both of them TVs in our room and she came right up and fixed the issue on both of them. She happily gave us extra decaf coffee pods. Large and clean room with a great bathroom. Hubby said the breakfast was good. They brought out different things after he went through the first time. Two small issues: 1) when the lights all went out, the smoke detector was flashing and 2) there was a dead palmetto bug in the middle of the living area which we quickly dispatched ourselves. Having a VRBO we rent out in Florida, we understand that if you use a pest control service those bugs come and die. This room probably isn’t used every day. Neither of those issues change my review.

This hotel was a great find — especially for the price. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the shower had excellent water pressure. Breakfast was surprisingly good with plenty of options. Overall, a great stay — I’d definitely stay here again!
- CBCatherine B.Oct 29, 20252.0Very disappointed in this hotel. We have stayed in numerous Holiday Inns, this one was a big let down. Was just there this past weekend, and we chose this hotel because its near both the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. Inside the hotel (the hallways and our room especially) were very run down. Marks all over the walls/ paint chippings/ carpet stains/ ceiling stains in bathroom. The pool water was GREEN!! Yes, GREEN! (See photo below) You couldn't see the bottom. Algae was literally on the edges. Spoke with numerous people at the front desk....each of them had a different story. Stories ranging from "We've had this water problem for months...the water levels are checked and its safe", "We dont know why its like that", and "Its a reflection from the ceiling." Needless to say we didn't trust any of those responses and didn't let our kids swim. We go down for complimentary breakfast at 7am on checkout day, and there is no food and no worker to be found. The lady at the front desk said, "Oh, well it looks like the person who does the food didnt show up today. I guess I will have to call in for a replacement." There were about 20 people that just ended up leaving, some with hungry kids like us. The only reason I gave 2 stars for the room was because housekeeping came each day and did wonderful with making beds, emptying garbage and restocking towels. Will never stay at this location again.

The refrigerator in the room was very wobbly and had a broken freezer door that came off in my hand when trying to open it. Unsurprisingly breakfast left much to be desire. Will never stay at this location again.
