Especially when we got there the rooms, we noticed. were done in a "motel" style setup, were the door to the the suite are on the outside. At first we hated that idea, but when we got into the room, we changed our minds. Our updated suite was well done, and very clean. 2 big screen TVs, a microwave and a fridge. Very impressive. We also ended up loving the fact we could park the car right outside our door. Very handy! We also had a FULL hot breakfast, including eggs and sausage, it was very tasty meal. Some higher price places only give you one of those "continental" breakfast, this was a complete breakfast! The only real con we had, was the location. The city of Murray being a college town and having hwy 641 speed through town, having the hotel on the highway makes for a very loud time. Seem like cars and trucks racing up and down 641 all day and night. They suite did have a pocket door to separated the bedroom and front room, but the door was nailed open, so we couldn't close it to cut off some of the noise. Other than that we really enjoyed Best Western University... Great price, great suite, bad location....

The service was 5 ⭐️ from my call to adjust the reservation & the midnight check in, to the easy text to checkout process. The room was very clean & we were especially happy with the cleanliness of the bathroom. ... with a fan! We'll definitely stay again when we come to Murray state.
