  Breyona was amazing. We had the pleasure of her service for two full days as she was working double shifts. Her pleasant attitude and friendly service were top notch. We were well cared for and treated with the utmost respect. The restaurant and hotel were clean and efficiently run! We will definitely be back and highly recommend the Holiday.

  Breyona took great care of us in the restaurant and bar during our whole stay. Rooms were clean, service was outstanding between front desk and servers downstairs, and great location to walk to the Kentucky Derby.

  The hotel is lovely and after a long day of flying I was thrilled to find a nice restaurant and bar. Be aware, the approach for one of the runways brings planes right by my window. I like airplane noise but some may find it unnerving.

  The room was clean and comfortable. The large television had great browsing technology and on demand features which is a huge plus. On site food was decent and the breakfast buffet was good and worth the price.

  From checking in to checking out this stay was subpar and pretty disappointing for an IHG property. Check in took about twenty minutes due to staff being new and needing to call for help. ***We were advised to park in the grass if we could because that is the safest spot. Apparently car break ins and vandalism are frequent here. ***** After parking, myself and another guest tried to enter through the back doors but the key would not work. The chlorine smell was pretty strong once we gained entry. The room key did not want to work during the entire stay and became pretty frustrating. The room was decent and the beds and pillows were super comfy. However, we had one chair at the table and no where else for anyone to sit which makes it difficult when there are three of you. The room was clean but kinda drab and dark. Carpets were pretty filthy throughout the building. Now to address the amenities- work out room is okay but nothing too special. The water dispenser was empty which would be nice when working out. The pool is pretty small but very clean. We used the laundry room to wash some clothes. The washer and dryer were acceptable but cost $3.00 a piece to use them. The door was kinda broken on the washer but it did a decent job. There was a strong sewer smell once the washer started. The business center is quite a joke honestly. There’s a small room looks like it should be a closet that they call their business center. Two computers and one printer and the room is so hot is almost unbearable. To my disappointment the printer failed to work which is why I was even using it. The next morning I was letting the front desk know and she said oh yeah the printer does not work, u have to send it up here to me and I’ll print it out. Thanks but no thanks. If you’re hoping for breakfast be prepared to pay $12 a piece per day. Be sure to get up on time as they only serve it from 630 - 930 am even on weekends. Most of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful but often hard to track down. Central location close to U of L and the expo center. The planes flying over are pretty cool but can be loud at times. The last thing is the music that plays outside on the patio areas can be pretty annoying especially when trying to get a moment of peace. Lots of chairs to sit at around the property. Disappointing to say the least. If you need somewhere to crash it’s okay but I will not be coming back to this location ever again.
