Rooms were nice - and it's a great location. However, I travel often for work and I'm not a big fan of hotels gouging their guests. When I arrived at the parking garage - someone placed a piece of paper over the normal parking rates - $40 for 1 night - almost 30% for what I paid for the room. When I asked why they were charging almost double the normal rate - the front desk said 'not sure, the parking garage owner said to charge the higher rate due to an event.' I hope the extra $20 was worth it - downtown Louisville has lots of options - I won't be staying here again.
Pros outweigh the Cons by far. As a long-stay customer I had a few issues early on with my room. This was tough on my outlook at first because over the years I have come to expect on average an “Above and Beyond” experience at Hilton affiliated hotels. However, from the Manager across the entire service staff (I could specifically identify at least a dozen or more by name), provided the best response and hospitality of any Hilton property that I’ve stayed at around the world! Well done to Brandon and his entire staff…BZ

I highly recommend the Tempo by Hilton in NuLu district. The location, amenities and service are phenomenal. Jaydon at the front desk is awesome and made our experience so wonderful. If you’re looking for a hotel in downtown Louisville, stay here!
Convenient location in the NuLu near Market street eateries, shops, and cafes!
The room was comfortable and spacious. There are no dressers so our stuff had to be kind of all over the place for few days but not a big deal.
Service was prompt and good. I wish they mentioned the parking was not included in the stay though. They just mentioned we need to validate our parking so we can come and go but no one’s mentioned we had to pay for parking. Plenty of outside parking during the week. Again not a big deal but the final parking fee on my credit card caught me by surprise is all.
Location is super convenient. Plenty of eataries, bars, and shops around in walking distance. Local thrift shop, dispensary if cannabis friendly, coffee shops (please and thank you), liquor store (one where you can buy an actual nice bottle of whatever), local bars (wine bars, Garage Bar is always a fave), restaurants (meeshmeesh, biscuit belly, royals hot chicken,etc.).
Easy access to downtown (slugger museum, science center, restaurants, bars) and cross the bridge to IN if needed.

I made a reservation for a corner room... Paying extra. Didn't get a corner room. Now I'll have to fight for a credit. Stayed in 411. PROS: Bed was comfy; Bath mirror pairs with your device to hear music/audio; Pelaton bike in room is a cool option; across the street from Rabbit Hole bourbon distillery; heating and air kept up. CONS: Couldn't sleep much at all because you can hear everything in the halls and outside; lighted mirror is kind of useless for its main purpose as it wasn't putting out adequate lighting to even put makeup on; No bathroom fans to turn on for courtesy of others; No coffee maker, just an electric water kettle to pour over a coffee bag/filter in a cup; No dressers or drawers at all for storage of any kind; the Coffee Cafe in the hotel closes for business at checkout time/11am so that was very disappointing; rooftop restaurant no longer use its dining room even if it's Saturday evening. You'll be seated in enclosed patio seated in patio chairs with no cushions. Now they serve the most minimal menu of chips, dips, burger and salad. Bar food. Yet they are listed on open table app advertising as upscale. I brought my husband for his birthday to this restaurant and was embarrassed and disappointed. OVERALL: This Hilton has some unique extras, good location, but then misses the mark in basic function and purpose.
